Do not stay here.

We didn't stay. From the owner asking us how much we paid to dodging a clothesline of underwear it was terrible. We had one look at the dirty room and the unsafe accommodation and left. Do not stay here. We stayed at the flora bay resort. Cheaper, cleaner and much nicer.

It had a lot of bad reviews in here but I thought it could not be so bad, but unfortunately it was. The bathroom conditions were horrible and there were many insects such as spiders in the room. The whole property seems to not have been taken care for years. Also when you get to the place the real name of the hotel is Empire which sounds a bit suspicious to have a different name from the listing here. I certainly would recommend any other place in the island.

Avoid this place. We stayed here in July 2025 for 4 days and it was a disaster. Before arrival, no response from the property despite multiple attempts. They also provided wrong info about boat schedules from Kuala Besut (boats actually leave every 40 min). Day 1: The place looked abandoned,unfinished buildings, scaffolding, and garbage everywhere. No reception,just a guy at the bar watching loud videos on his phone. He didn’t speak English, so we used the translator. He refused early check-in, probably to sell us a drink during the wait. The sea view room was dirty: stained sheets, hair and dirt in the bathroom, sewer smell, a broken mirror, and no hot water. Complaining didn’t help. Day 2: The day after, we asked if the problem had been fixed. He told us he hadn’t been able to fix it and that a part needed to be ordered, which would arrive the following day. We asked for a different room, but that wasn’t possible. Other guests also stood waiting at “reception” for hours with no help. Day 3: A manager finally showed up and spoke English, but instead of fixing anything, he offered us snacks and a cocktail. He then said it was a public holiday and repairs would be done the next day. We were promised a room change if the issue persisted. Too late, we had only one day left and were showering using the bidet shower. Day 4: Shower was finally fixed. In short: Structure is falling apart, staff is incompetent, and hygiene is unacceptable. Save your holiday, book elsewhere.

Terribile! Camere sporche con cartacce e polvere accumulate sotto ai letti, sporcizia ammucchiata negli angoli, lenzuola con pelucchi e capelli, bagno sporco e fatiscente con la vaschetta di scarico del wc rotta e aperture senza vetri nelle pareti (per evitare che entrassero insetti). Ragno e ragnatela dietro alla porta. Personale per l'accoglienza, la pulizia e la preparazione della colazione non qualificato. Abbiamo cambiato albergo perdendo tutti i soldi (non effettuano rimborsi) ma, credetemi, era impossibile pensare di fermarsi in quelle condizioni (siamo viaggiatori spartani ma a tutto c'è un limite). E non ci hanno neanche rilasciato la ricevuta del pagamento (dopo averla chiesta hanno detto che l'avrebbero inviata via e-mail ma non è mai arrivata). Altre persone sono andate via come noi il nostro stesso giorno e altre nei giorni successivi (sporcizia, lo scarico del wc non funzionante, doccia non funzionante, etc). Credo si tratti di una "struttura truffa": senza fare il minimo sforzo per risolvere i problemi causati da loro (a partire dalla pulizia) e senza dare rimborsi a chi scappa, hanno trovato il modo per guadagnare.

TERRIFICANTE! Questa struttura non può essere definita hotel e tantomeno resort. Non ha le caratteristiche minime , di base, essenziali per essere definito tale .E' un cantiere a cielo aperto, non esiste personale di servizio, non esiste la reception, non ci sono servizi , pulizia inesistente sia nelle camere che negli spazi comuni, confusione, caos, oggetti di qualunque tipo sparsi ovunque (fili elettrici, materiali per edilizia, bottiglie, asciugamani sporchi..). Struttura fatiscente, abbandonata a se stessa, degna di un film dell'orrore, inquietante, pericolosa. Le camere che assegnano sono sporche e fatiscenti , non funzionanti (lo scarico del wc non andava, quindi wc INUTILIZZABILE). Le camere non vengono rifatte (ovviamente non c'è personale). Le persone che circolano all'interno della struttura sono improvvisate e non qualificate (nella fattispecie 4 muratori che si improvvisano personale della struttura). Abbiamo chiesto di avere una camera con il wc funzionante e volevano farci pagare una maggiorazione per l'assegnazione di due camere(eravamo in 4) secondo loro di livello superiore! DA EVITARE ASSOLUTAMENTE

Struttura fatiscente. Inquietante. Personale non qualificato. Sporca. Pericolosa. Le immagini non corrispondono alla realtà. Hanno delle camere effettivamente nuove che affacciano su un cantiere di loro proprietà ma fermo per mancanza di soldi. Per ottimizzare i costi la struttura è gestita dai muratori che al momento non possono continuare con il cantiere. Le nostre camere avevano il bagno non funzionante e ci hanno proposto le nuove pagando un supplemento. La struttura che si trova a fianco offre a prezzi decisamente inferiori soluzioni dignitose e ottima colazione. Siamo viaggiatori abituati a strutture molto spartane.

Merveilleux séjour.

Merveilleux séjour en famille. Pour la seconde fois nous avons résidé dans cet hôtel et que de merveilleux souvenirs. Ils ont une super équipe toujours présent quand nous avons besoin. Les propriétaires sont des personnes au top, d’une extrême gentillesse et toujours à l‘écoute de leur client. Le petit restaurant propose de super repas. Et vous pouvez demander sur place pour la mise en place d’excursion.

La ducha no tiene presión, el váter muy sucio, se ha roto la puerta, que no tiene cerradura (cerrada con un candado de bici), y nos la querían cobrar. El grifo no estaba fijado a el lavamanos y la ducha no vaciaba el agua. La limpieza muy mediocre y lo único bueno eran las camas.

Un scandale

Nous avions réservé cet hotel qui n'avait déjà pas de bonne critique mais c'était le seul de libre sur internet qui restait sur l'île et on s'est dit que ça ne devait pas être si terrible, on voyage énormément est on va souvent dans des auberges alors on est habitué au manque de confort...mais quand on est arrivé. Nous devions payer sur place par carte visa, il est bien noté que l'hôtel accepte les paiement par cartes Visa. Une fois sur l'ìle il n'y a aucun ATM, impossible de retirer du cash sur place. Nous avions pris de quoi passer 3 jours sur lîle avec du cash pour nous payer les resto ou activités. Mais arrivé à l'hôtel notre carte ne passait pas, nous avions une 2ème carte de crédit alors on s'est dit pas de soucis mais c'est le lecteur de carte qui disait qu'il n'y avait pas de connexion. Le gérant est devenu désagréable et rotait bruyamment devant nous avec nos 2 enfants. Il nous a dit c'est votre carte qui ne fonctionne pas alors que c'était clairement leur lecteur, surtout que nous avions utilisé notre carte juste avant sans soucis. Il a exigé du cash sinon il nous chassait! Mais on avait pas assez de cash. On a demandé si il pouvait pas réessayer le lendemain en attendant que leur lecteur fonctionne mais rien, on a été abandonné ainsi en nous mettant à la porte en nous rotant encore à la figure! Nos enfants pleuraient. On nous a demandé de partir et heureusement nous avons trouvé malgré la haute saison un hôtel magnifique et notre carte VISA a passé du 1er coup.

Abbiamo scelto la struttura principalmente per il prezzo, ma siamo rimaste piacevolmente colpite dall'atmosfera generale, dalla gentilezza e disponibilità del personale. Gli chalet hanno camere ampie, ma minimal nell'arredamento; il bagno è spazioso, con possibilità di avere anche l'acqua calda, se si accetta una scarsa pressione. WiFi è disponibile sia nelle zone comuni che in camera. Colazione basic a buffet. Accesso diretto alla spiaggia, sulla quale sono presenti i ristoranti dell'isola e le agenzie che si occupano delle escursioni e dei taxj boat. Probabilmente la struttura si presenterà ancora meglio perché erano in corso lavori ddi miglioramento. Solo conoscere il boss vale il soggiorno nella struttura, perché è una persona molto disponibile, generosa e solare.

Nous avons réservé 3 nuits et nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit tellement les conditions étaient horribles. Pas de chasse d’eau, pas d’eau chaude, une chambre très sale à notre arrivée, des coupures de courant, la chambre n’était pas hermétique : cafards, milles pâtes. Jet douche cassé ainsi que les portes de celle-ci. Malgré que la plage soit magnifique, les déchets sont jetés à l’extrémité de celle-ci, laissant un endroit sale de ce côté. Bref très mauvaise expérience. Je ne recommande pas, et expédia ne devrait pas nous proposer ce genre de logements Dégoûtants

À notre arrivé sur l'île personne pour nous aider à porter les valises. On a marché avec nos valises plus de 10 mn sur le sable. Réception la personne qui nous a reçu ne comprenait pas et parlait pas l'anglais. On a demandé plusieurs fois pour payer l'hôtel mais impossible de nous faire comprendre vu qu'on avait toujours à faire à la même personne. Ils nous ont envoyé un message pour nous dire qu'on était parti sans payer très agréable de recevoir ce genre de messages. Niveau hygiène le 1er la chambre était sale et est restée sale jusqu'à notre départ. Pas une seule fois ils sont venus faire la chambre et vider la poubelle c'était à nous de le faire honteux. Heureusement qu'on a pas pris le petit-déjeuner car c'était infecte. Franchement cet hôtel ne le proposez plus car c'est une honte tellement il est sale et moche. Très mauvaise expérience. Hôtel très très moyen

La qualité du logement est tres moyenne, la salle de bain est sale et dans un état médiocre. Ce type d’hôtel ne devrait pas être proposé à ce prix mais beaucoup moins. Nous avons effectué une réservation tardive et il restait peu de logement, d’où le choix de cet hôtel. Notre expérience n’a pas été bonne, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Nous avons été réveillé le matin à 9h par les travaux du bâtiment qu’ils construisent collé au notre. Nous n’avons pas été prévenu par l’hôtel lors du check’in qui plus est. Le nom de l’hôtel est EMPIRE et il n’a pas été changé sur les sites de réservation. Enfin, commentaire pour l’hôtel : il serait judicieux de participer au nettoyage de la plage car on y trouve des déchets tout le long, ceci est affligeant et pas agréable. Surtout comparé à d’autres plages.
