Great Family Vacatiom

This was our 3rd time staying at the ICON and we had a lovely time. The property is central to many restaurants and shopping. A quick uber ride to the Malecon or Romantic Zone, and 45minutes to Sayulita. The property itself is very secure - gated entrance with security guards at all entrances to check wrist bands. The unit was very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. We did need to purchase basics like soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, salt/pepper etc. We were disappointed with the cleanliness at check in but I think it may have been due to a quick turnover from the previous guests - they may not have had enough time to properly clean the bathrooms or kitchen (the cleaner was still in our unit when we checked in at 4pm). We ended up purchasing kitchen/bathroom cleaning supplies and spent about an hour wiping everything down but once that was done, we were able to relax and really have a wonderful stay.The property manager was very responsive. The ceiling started to leak on our second to last day ( I believe from one of the air conditioners) and they got back to me within minutes. All in all, we had a great vacation and will be back again soon!

Gonna miss these views

The condo was perfect for our family. Plenty of space. The views are everything. We saw whales almost every day from our balcony. We enjoyed the gym, pool, and beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There’s a grocery store within walking distance. The only “downside” for our teen was we were surrounded by mostly retired residents. Not many other teens to befriend. But the location and being on the beach made up for it.

Beautiful views but very poor Customer Service by Vacasa

3 bedroom/ 3bathroom plus powder room condo on the 15th floor. Great open space with plenty of room and privacy for 3 couples. The view from the balcony was amazing but could have used more patio chairs. We ended up bringing the kitchen chairs out. Even though the condo was very clean and in an excellent location, I would not rent it again because of the poor customer service we experienced through the management company, Vacasa. At check in I noticed 2 of the bathrooms had no hand towels. I requested them right away and it took 3 days to get them. Also the dryer broke midway through our stay and despite several messages telling us someone was coming to fix it no one ever did. Very inconvenient when you need to wash and dry towels. If this unit was managed by another party I might consider renting it again.

Needs 2 days worth of cleaning for the price you payo stay.

We arrived 4 hours early and just needed a place to store our bags. When we walked in there were two men working on the washer/dryer. Sheets and towels covering the furniture, guessing the dryer was not working. The place was a mess, floors were filthy, dirty dishes everywhere. We felt sorry for the maid. When we went back to the room at 4pm we were told the room was not yet ready, no surprises. They needed two housekeepers to do a sufficient job. The dishwasher was still filled with dirty dishes that we ended up washing. Lots of hand soap and shampoo, but no body wash. Disappointed in the cleanliness, but had a wonderful time overall. We left the unit cleaner than it was when we arrived.

Seize the Sun Review

Our stay in Seize the Sun was disappointing. This property is in a great location, close to restaurants and many other amenities. It has great views, a great beach and pool area with plenty of spots to enjoy the PV sun. The apartment was spacious and well laid out for our group of six adults. However, the property is in bad shape and showing the neglect of several years of renting. It was poorly cleaned with dirty floors (including from prior guests), mold in the showers and clothes from prior guest left in the closets. The unit was poorly stocked with no dishwasher soap, no replacement garbage bags, 1/4 roll of paper towel in the kitchen with no other drying towels and little to no soap in the showers.The property manager was slow to respond to inquiries and requests. The check-in process was confusing and not clearly explained. The condo complex does not allow outside guests at any time, which was not specified until we arrived at the unit. This property could be a 5 out of 5 with some care and attention.

Great views, check in terrible

I don’t like having to go through a big property manager. Huge pain to check in. Way too many points of contacts and it was confusing even for me who is young and understands stuff. On top of this, our place was not ready until 4:30 pm! Half an hour after check in. Also, they have the audacity to ask you to pay for late check out. If this was my property manager, I’d fire them especially because the place has a lot of maintenance issues. Why are you letting the bottom of the freezer rise like that? Behind one of the sinks it looks gross and moldy. The paint looks terrible. The place itself is overall nice with beautiful views and it was clean over all. Location is great. Not a fan of check in and also this is a very loud unit. Be prepared to hear all the hotel noise. I’ve stayed at a lot of Icon units. Not going back to this one especially because of the management company.

Took 3 hours to check in. Did not have the name of all of my guests. NO communication whatsoever. Did not communicate elevator wasn’t working. Did not email/text no instructions for check in/check out. No pool rules given. No nothing. Fridge was dirty and leaking water. Clothes left behind in a closet from prior guest. Wet towels left inside washer. Hand soap inside shower. No extra toilet paper. Place looks run down.

The place was amazing! Expectacular view! Everything was great, we only had an issue with not having any hot water and showering was brutal but our host Rocio helped us right away, always commincating with us and was very attentive! Thank you Rocio!! The kitchen was well equipped. The rooms and bathrooms are very cleaned and nice! The staff seemed to be super strict with their rules and it felt like they kept their eyes on everything.The security is super strict as well, which it's okay but maybe they need to losen up just a bit. Other than that, everything was amazing!!! I will definitely come back again.

Phenomenal views!!

The condo is spacious, well equipped and comfortable . The views are amazing in every area of the condo. There were not a lot of restaurant and bar options nearby but it's a cheap cab ride to the marina area and there are many choices there. The pool area is lovely but very quiet - not ideal for active teenagers.

What a view!!

Condo was just as described in the listing, well appointed and a view that can’t be beat. Saw whales, cruise ships and yachts 4 out of 5 days! Staff at the condo was great and Alfredo at the check in desk was so helpful. Vacasa (Rocio) was very informative the whole way through and checked in with me during the stay. Great place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation!

What a view!

Great location for first time visitors to Puerto Vallarta . Easy commute to the Malecon Boardwalk , Marina Vallarta and Centro. Taxi’s are easily accessible via concierge at the condominium complex and super affordable. Grocery store within walking distance of condo along with restaurants.

Spectacular view

Beautiful condo with the most beautiful views. All 3 bedrooms had own view. Nice having washer and dryer in condo. Kitchen had all the necessary amenities although we didn’t use any of it since we ate out the whole time. Only a few miles from airport and close to Marina but little far from Old Town area where all the great restaurants and shopping are located. Guest services on site and management was great. Very responsive and helpful. Taxi and Uber very cheap there so I wouldn’t bother renting a car. Driving there was crazy by American standard and hard to find parking so I wouldn’t do that again.
