Check in took about an hour. Because we booked from Expedia it goes to a private check in. Which I have never experienced. So the people at the resort have no part of the check-in process…You have to make sure that you sign an agreement directly with the host of the property. Which I had no idea about. It was definitely frustrating.

Pros: new construction. Very modern. Beautiful view. Not enough towels provided at the beginning but owner solved the issue quickly. Cons: one of the beds and comforter had a very bad underarm smell. We had to put towels and sleep over the towels because we could not stand the smell. Notified the owner but no reply. The room only has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Parking is on a dirt lot. No covered parking since it’s still under construction. The pool doesn’t open until 10am. No umbrellas around the pool. The building is very close to town. While some people may like the location, the beach is packed with locals, vendors, and music. We prefer to stay at a location farther away from town.
