Unfortunately the unit we stayed at this year was not as expected; the sliding doors were almost impossible to open and close, towel hooks were off the walls, and the appliances old. The AC made a huge noise. It was disappointing. Opalo D905 owner/s please upgrade to the 5 star resort standards.

Had to call the front desk 5 times to fix various issues in the room. TV’s weren’t hooked up and the shower didn’t get hot. They had a lot of silly rules at the pool area. The price you pay to go here no one should be watching you and your family like a hawk saying what you can and can’t do the whole time. Pools are nice and beach access is easy. All and all I would never stay here again.

Perfect family spot

This resort was great! The spacious condo was perfect for our family. The kitchen had almost everything needed to make our own meals (no paper products provided, bring your own paper towels & coffee filters). The pools were very clean and well maintained. There was some loud maintenance on one of the walkways but there was enough space to get away from it and you can't beat the proximity to the beach. Perfect family spot!

The resort and what it offers is fantastic, although room B502 needs a new mattress and couch. Very uncomfortable, but if you drink enough tequila it won’t matter anyways.

Can't wait to come back

We loved this resort. The view from our room was spectacular and visible from most rooms as well as the large deck.The kids were kept busy with the beach and various pools. The accommodations far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely come back.

Family get away

We had an amazing time despite the hurricane that kept us in our room most of the day on Sunday. But it was still awesome because we were there with family who took a 12 hour bus with two little ones to meet us in Sonora. They said it was welworth the bus ride to get there. The hotel was very clean and we had plenty of towels. And the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking.
