Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of privacy while exploring the property`s private hiking trails, waterfall, ponds, and citrus orchard. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the convenient access to trails leading toward Lake Poway, Blue Sky Preserve, and Mt. Woodson, with Potato Chip Rock and Iron Mountain Trailhead just a short drive away.

The backyard is designed for unforgettable gatherings, featuring a pool with spa, water slide, and waterfall feature, plus two firepits for relaxing under the stars. The expansive 75` x 25` deck includes a BBQ, comfortable outdoor seating, and dining for 12.
Inside, the 3,150 sq. ft. home offers an open, comfortable space with 5 bedrooms, an office, 3.5 bathrooms, and an upstairs bonus room with its own kitchenette—perfect for additional space, families, or guests who want a little extra privacy. Sleeping arrangements include four queen beds, one full bed, one twin bed, and two queen sleeper sofas.

The main kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to large family dinners and includes a 36` built-in refrigerator and freezer, range, warming drawer, microwave/convection oven, air fryer, Instant Pot, Crock-Pot, and trash compactor.
Additional amenities include beach gear, badminton, croquet, and a basketball hoop.

Kitchenette/living room (apartment) has a Keurig coffee machine, Smart TV, microwave and comfortable couch seating.

Located within easy reach of Torrey Pines State Beach, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Potato Chip Rock, Iron Mountain, and more than 20 local wineries, this property is an ideal home base for exploring San Diego County while still providing a peaceful retreat to come home to.
Note: Poway is an inland suburb. Nearby is Lake Poway’s recreation and hiking - tons of trails. People come from all over the world to hike to Potato Chip Rock and take photos for social media. From my home, guests can hike down to Lake Poway and access multiple trails. Guests can even hike to Potato Chip Rock the long way. The short way is to drive to the Mt. Woodson Preserve trailhead (19 min. drive).

Please note: This is a private residential retreat. Parties, events, and outside vendors are not permitted. The owner resides separately on the property in a private tiny home with no shared guest facilities; it is not visible from the main home.

Available for infants: Pack n play with bedding; high chair; booster chair, bottle sanitizer; baby bath tub and stroller.

Owner lives on the property but will be scarce and quiet. Guests will have full use of driveway. Owner will not share any amenities with guests.

We want your vacation rental experience to be memorable and convenient. Keeping a comfortable and clean property is what is most important to us. We will be available anytime via messenger to answer any questions or concerns.
We take the approach of being hands off on the property unless needed - we want you to feel like you have the home all to yourself!

POOL HEATING
>$125/day to heat the pool (full stay required)
>It can take 1-2 days to heat the pool so we need advanced notice
>Spa heating included in booking amount
>If the stay exceeds 7 days there will be an added fee of $15/day for spa heating
>If the stay exceeds 30 days the pool and spa heating bill is paid by the guest (what is used is what is charged and we will require a photo ID and CC on file)

LEFT BEHIND ITEMS
$20 service charge added to shipping cost

MAX RENTAL 29 DAYS
$500 charge if anything besides toilet paper is flushed down the toilet. House is on septic so this is a serious, large cost. Thanks for understanding!



CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES
Note: When making a reservation through our website or when using credit card payment there is a 4-6% credit card processing charge that is paid to Stripe (the credit card processing company). If AT ANY TIME there is a cancellation, the 4-6% charge is not refunded.

DAMAGE PROTECTION
The extra charge listed as “Waivo Insurance” on your reservation covers accidental damage in the home within a certain limit. If something happens or breaks during your stay please let us know immediately so we can file a claim.
Note: This amount only covers a 10 day or less stay. If you are staying longer than 10 days we will request the difference in amount for coverage.

MARRIOTT GUESTS -- You are not charged a Waivo Fee. You will be asked to upload your credit card information to the reservation upon booking, this will act as the card on file (similar to hotels) in case any damages occur during your stay.
