As an expatriate, one of the perks of living in Europe is the travel. A recent three-day weekend consisted of a short drive to The Netherlands and Belgium. The town is located minutes from the German border. Situated above the restaurant, which you walk through, are cozy and modern rooms. Locally owned, the proprietor and his wife are exceptional hosts. Additionally, the friendly staff offered suggestions for sightseeing. The area is peaceful, not too far from Roermond and its shopping outlet. Overall, most of the Dutch people I have encountered are engaging.

Excellent and welcoming Hotel

Arrived at this wonderful Hotel very late, 5.30 am! Owners still waited for us and checked us in! Lovely village setting, very friendly owners and staff. Rooms are big, very modern and very well maintained. Can't recommend this Hotel enough, we'll definitely be returning next year!

Nice country hotel

Excellent breakfast service. Late opening time for admittance. Dinner was a mixed bag with one good meal and one poor meal. One staff member unable to accept criticism over the poor meal. That was unacceptable. But the incident was not sufficient to not recommend starting at this quaint hotel. Just avoid the trout. Overcooked and dry. No presentation on the plate. Should have been an easy meal to do well.
