This was our first time in Porto. Unfamiliar with the area we had chosen this location deliberately to be a little way out of the throng of city centre life. That said, a 30 minute stroll took us into the heart of historic Porto, and all downhill. The premises still ooze the new look and are spotlessly clean; we liked the daily housekeeping. The staff were superbly friendly and really engaging, with meticulous care taken over our check-in and introduction to our room and facilities. We had asked for a garden view room and were given a room with both city (street) and garden view, with a small outside balcony on which we could chill throughout the day and evening. Room facilities were a home from home with everything needed for an independent stay, down to the dishwasher and fridge freezer. We ordered breakfast, which was delivered each morning, with fresh bread rolls and pastries; other continental additions were available. Lunch and dinner was available in the multitude of local restaurants/diners. With at least two local launderettes and supermarket, everything is near to hand to make any stay ideal. Although we didn't use it, the small onsite gym is a nice touch, if the Porto streets and hills are insufficient. For those interested, one of the advertised day wine tours meets outside a local church; really convenient. The outside garden space has a small bar which provides an idyllic inner city chill zone. This was a cool, chill facility, well presented and very well run.

Had an amazing 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor. Was so spacious. Large open plan kitchen, living, dining area with everything you could possibly need. Both bedrooms & bathroom were large, great shower ! Really comfortable beds. Huge balcony off living area & both bedrooms. Would highly recommend

We arrived with a rental car, to avoid Porto historical old town traffic’s challenges, we found this Hotel! Wonderful Aparthotel! Matter of fact, our first try for this kind accommodation when traveling! 705! Our lucky number and most pleasant experience! The free breakfast delivery by your door at the time you requested, the kitchen appliances, and the rooms were all clean and convenient. Hotel staff helped us to book a wonderful Douro valley wine tour , the “Living Tour”, which was an excellent choice! We were so pleased with our experience with 705 hotel! I will definitely recommend this place and remember all staff members who treat us like their friends and family!!

The staff were attentive and friendly. It was clean and spacious. The garden bar was a nice addition. It was a good 35 min walk downhill to the river but Ubers and the metro are available and easy.

I researched relentlessly for the perfect hotel in Porto, and Hotels 705 comes pretty darn close. The staff and service stand out far above most other places. If I could rate the friendly, helpful, kind staff above a 5 stars I certainly would. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Large rooms with sound proofing, kitchenettes and we had a large terrace facing the city. I think a view of the garden would have also been lovely. The street is small that passes by the hotel, and it’s in a residential neighbourhood, so not much street noise. The only thing we encountered traveling late August was that even though there are numerous restaurants (although not as many if you stayed closer to the historic downtown) within walking distance from the hotel, many were closed for summer holidays. Shout out to Casanova, amazing local spot right around the corner from the hotel, with remarkable staff and a cute back patio. Also, perfect small grocery store walking distance from the hotel, with fresh pastries and fish. We visited almost every day. To get downtown you can certainly walk, it is all downhill. However, to return to the hotel you will be walking uphill. We used Bolt’s to travel home sometimes and they were very economical. All in all, perfect spot for us to stay and enjoy Porto. You are not in the tourist busy districts, so you actually do get to enjoy the way locals live in Porto. Five out of five stars!

The staff were incredibly helpful from the lady at the front desk who assisted us with parking and gave advice, providing a map of Porto and giving detailed information on attractions and places of interest to the staff who helped with luggage and gave us explanations on how to in the apartment - shout out to Daniel! Small touches like water, tea and coffee freely replaced daily go a long way. Not to mention, the frequent check ins to ask if there was anything else we needed or would like. Hospitality is definitely at the forefront of service here. We would stay again and will recommend to friends and family

The hotel made a fantastic family base, lots of inside and outside space, well equipped kitchen, the breakfast was fab and the staff were very helpful and polite. Easily accessible by the metro straight into Sao Bento. The room is finished to a high standard, lots of great facilities and amenities and very well thought out.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotels 705 Porto Prime Home. The location is excellent , close enough to walk or take a short ride to Porto’s main attractions, yet in a calm and pleasant area that feels authentic and safe. There are cafés, bakeries, and restaurants just around the corner, making it easy to enjoy local flavours at any time of day. The property was spotless, bright, and modern, with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful décor. My room was cozy yet well-equipped, with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. Everything was kept perfectly clean, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The staff were fantastic friendly, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or assistance. The apartment/suite has good space with enough storage. You have access to appliances for storing groceries and do some simple cooking if desired which is great for extended stays families. It felt like home! Location was about 15-20 min away from major attractions but easy to get to and transport with uber or bolt. The staff is courteous and very friendly. Gave us a detailed explanation of the town and recommendations on where to go and eat. All their recommendations were right on the spot. They assisted us with use of the appliances within the room. Just a pleasant stay and highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay at this property. From the very friendly staff (and I mean everyone we met) to the quality of the rooms / cleanliness of the beds and comfort of the beds. Plenty of room in all the different spaces. We had booked a 1 bedroom with sofa bed for 4 people and the sofa bed was already ready for us. The service was great. The parking is through a car elevator and the staff was very helpful to get us in and out. I’d definitely stay there again without even looking at other properties.
