There is NOT parking at this place. The description says “free included self parking.” This actually refers to free parking on the street if you can find it. When I pointed out this misinformation to the person who checked me in, he very arrogantly responded via message that I misunderstood what that means. However, the Hotels own website very clearly state there is NO parking at this place. Finding parking on the street for our rental car was not easy and took over 30 minutes at one point. I literally had to stand in the street holding a parking spot while my husband drove around the corner. Also, I don’t know what the listing said about housekeeping, but that didn’t happen at all during our 4 night stay. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location is great if you want to be out of the busy areas and like it quieter. It is about a 20 minute walk that is very easy (straight line) or 5 euro in an uber. It is a very charming property and was perfect for us. They could do better with little things to get a perfect score. Better pillows and include shampoo. They claim parking is included but the location has no dedicated parking but free steeet parking, I feel that is misleading. They included a bootle of their own green wine which was nice but no corkscrew to open it. We enjoyed the stay overall and also try the French restaurant next door! One of the best dining experiences we ever had!

The location of our place was close to the city centre (30 min walk), and offered close access to the subway system. I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years, and the charm of this house won us over! I was especially pleased with time and effort Rosalia took to make sure we had all the knowledge we needed to enjoy our time in Porto. Her restaurant recommendation (Augusto’s) was excellent…I think my wife and I are still full from dinner there. The place is somewhat new and will have growing pains, as one can expect. However, I think this location will blossom into a sought after location. So, if you are in the Porto area, take the time to consider this lovely establishment.

Ich hatte ein wunderschönes, helles und grosses Zimmer. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es einen Altbauteil gibt. Diese Zimmer haben einen eigenen Charme, sind jedoch sehr hellhörig. Man hört jedes Gemurmel auf der Strasse und auch im Haus selber. Die Gegend ist ideal um alles in einem ruhigen Tempo zu erkunden. Ca. 20 min in die Stadt mit all ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Rosalià ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die gleich zu Beginn all ihre Tipps zur Erkundung der Stadt und Umgebung bereithält. Vielen Dank

Malheureusement, nous avons sans doute eu la moins bonne chambre de l'hôtel : en sous-sol, 2 lucarnes au niveau du sol, donc sombre et humide. Chambre aménagée pour personne en fauteuil roulant, toilettes et salle de bain très inconfortables.

쾌적한 숙소

리셉션이 상주하지는 않지만 도착 전에 충분히 메세지를 주고 받아서 체크인 하는데 아무런 불편함이 없었습니다. 시설은 깨끗했고 관리가 잘 되고 있다는 인상을 받았어요. 다만 주방이 생각보다 작아서 요리를 할 정도의 규모는 아닙니다. 방이 베란다 쪽이여서 약간 습했는데 하루에 한시간 정도 에어컨 제습 기능을 돌려주면 쾌적하게 지낼 수 있습니다. 다른 투숙객이랑 마주칠 일도 별로 없고 시내랑도 멀지 않고 마트도 가까이 있는 편이라 좋았어요 아 그리고 웰컴 드링크로 무려 와인이 있는데 알쓰라 마시지를 못한게 안타깝네요.

This “casa” has large rooms with nice interior. The host did an excellent job informing in details about places to visit both in the centre and in the local neighbourhood, with charming family restaurants with very good food. The host was very helpful arranging tours.
