On my first visit to Porto, I instantly fell in love with its delights and irresistible sights. The Duro river is a must for selfies, and I find myself immersed in the calm pleasure of the senses, the smells, and the friendly locals eager to help. Walking in the old Porto center, exploring the narrow cobblestone streets, I admire the architecture, especially the mix of old and new. Port wine is world famous, and visiting one of the many hundreds-year-old wineries leaves me dizzy. This beautiful city, with its glowing vibrancy, calm atmosphere, and beautiful sights, makes it difficult to leave. When I pack my bags each visit, I wish I had stayed just a little longer.

A week before your arrival date, please get in touch with Victor or Thania, who manages the apartment, to coordinate receiving the keys. They are a sweet couple from Brazil who speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English. They will be your address for any questions or concerns you may have. In addition, they live not too far and can take care of issues that require maintenance.

Local city Tax. The city of Porto collects 2 euro tax for each person per day. We ask that this will be paid in cash to Victor or Thania. Obrigado

Check-in between 15:00- 19:00
Check-out is before 11 am

Victor or Thaina will meet you between 15:00 to 19:00 on the day of your arrival to hand you the keys and answer any questions you may have.
When checking out, you may leave the apartment's keys on the kitchen counter.

The easiest way to get to the apartment is by taking an Uber or a Taxi. I find Uber to be less expensive and very easy to get. Getting a taxi from the airport is also easy, but catching one in the city streets just by waving is more challenging. I highly recommend downloading the Uber app and using it. Victor may also be available to pick you up at the airport for a fee less than Uber, so feel free to inquire with him.

Once you are settled in the apartment, my preferred mode of transportation is walking. There are, however, many alternatives such as buses, trolly, and of course, taxis and Uber.

Apartment description and essential operation:

Casa Anibal features two bedrooms, each equipped with a full-size bed.  and two bathrooms with showers. Please note that the 3rd bedroom is locked because it is where I keep my private belongings; therefore, it is not accessible to guests.
A central air conditioner serves the entire apartment and is controlled with a remote. Please make sure to turn it off when you leave for the day
The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, utensils, an espresso machine, and basic cooking supplies.
There is a washing machine in the closet when you first enter. It is an ecological machine and therefore plans for a longer washing time. There is a drying rack in the same closet
There is WIFI in the unit. The network name and the wifi code are on the labels at the bottom of the Router:

A 42" flat-screen TV is controlled by the remote near the Router on the wall facing the sofa.
We offer towels, linens, basic shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

Apartment rules that we ask you to follow;
Please shut off all lights, air conditioners, and TVs when leaving for the day.
Never leave candles lit or any open fire in the apartment unsupervised
. Never smoke in the apartment or the building.
Always take the trash out across the street and place it in the trash bins before checking out.
Please recycle plastics, glass, and paper, and place them in bins across the street.
Please ensure that you have not left anything behind when checking out. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for items left in the apartment.
Always shut the building's entry door when coming and going.
Please do not leave unwashed dishes in the kitchen sink.

Casa Anibal is centrally located, safe, comfortable, short walking to the shopping district, minutes from the Galleries art center, and within walking distance to the River. This apartment makes you feel as if you are home in Porto,

My favorite Cafe, "Cake and Sugar," is just around the corner.
For Vegetarians. Nola Kitchen restaurant is fantastic.
For Tennis Lovers, Clay court, "Tennis Lovers Boavista" is a delight
If medical care is needed, Hospital Lusiadas is close by
Via Catarina shopping center is just a short walk
Excellent restaurants, "Base" and "Zenith" are within walking distance
"Early" is also a great restaurant
Temporada, a sweet co-working space, is right around the corner
"Quintal," an Organic supermarket, offers a great selection a few minutes' walk.
