Valley Views Apartment
Beautiful spacious guest house off of the main home. Separate entrance and far enough from the main living area to feel very private and secluded.
Enjoy open living, dining, and kitchen floor plan. One of the first things to notice is the beautiful view of the valley from the main living space. Whether you are enjoying your morning coffee, an evening beverage, or anything in between you will find yourself sitting and relaxing, taking it all in.
The living room has a comfortable sofa bed for sitting or sleeping depending on your needs. There is plenty of room to spread out given the open floor plan. The main bedroom with a queen bed that sits back behind the second bedroom bunk area. Which has a full mattress on the bottom and a twin above it. (Please note, these room are joined together, you must walk through the bunk room to get to the main bedroom. There is a door to separate them, but they are still connected). This makes a wonderful space for a small group or families to stay and enjoy the surrounding area of Portland. Perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Being in Happy Valley, you are just a few minutes from groceries, shopping, and freeway access, only 11.8 miles to Portland.

Over all ok stay. Just didn’t realize both beds were basically in the same room because even though there were separate doors u had to go through 1 area to get to the next & same with the bathroom

Very disappointing
Some of the photos of this property were misleading or outright false. There is no “valley view” from the one basement window. The property has four decks, none of which are accessible by guests. There is no outside space available and the window does not open. The washer/dryer are not front loaders, they are old stackable top loaders. The TV has no sound bar so the volume is low. The sofa is very hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen is minimally equipped for cooing. There are no dish towels or sponges /dish rags for cleaning, and no kleenex anywhere.
This was the very first time in a VRBO that the host made absolutely no contact with me before, during or after our stay. I contacted her a few days before we were to arrive and she contacted us after we left because she wondered where we’d left the TV remote (it had been left on the coffee table). She did not leave a review of me…so now I can likely expect a bad one though all I’ve written is true. I’m glad that this experience is not typical of VRBO rentals; I’ve never before given a negative review.
