Stay that left my girlfriend with ringworm
Initial check in was difficult, you have to press buttons very hard. We stayed from the 10th-13th for a friends wedding and just looked for a very cheap place to stay. That ended up being a mistake as the insect or bug control was nonexistent. We saw numerous and killed numerous bugs and cockroaches including one that was crawling on our legs while we were sleeping the second night staying there. We both had numerous mosquito bites on the way home and were very itchy. My girlfriend noticed a bigger spot on the back of her leg that we concluded was a spider bite. Without wanting to leave a bad review we disregarded it until she noticed it changing sizes and growing past the weeks. After finally seeing a dermatologist who confirmed it as ringworm, we have reached back out to Vacasa for any bit of a refund in this process that has left us with more regrets than enjoyments along the trip. Vacasa being a corporate garbage company is saying that since we did not report this during the stay we will not receive any refund. Typical corporate answer, but its not right and I want to warn anyone else thinking of staying at Ms. Sara's Hideway to beware and bring bug spray, the host obviously does minimum effort to keep their place bug free.

The management and communication with booking this property was poor. We received a booking confirmation prior to our arrival but at no time did we receive the details of how to access the property. We stood outside the property for some time while we called Expedia to help us gain entry. The access code failed after Expedia contacted you on our behalf. We were told to use the keys found in the lockbox. The dwelling was old but reasonably clean. The major issue with the property is the return air vent located above the bed. The unit was extremely noisy throughout the day and into the overnight. I was forced to sleep on the small sofa in the living area. Not what I paid for, for 3 nights. Bookings should be told about the excessive loud noise, three nights of my vacation were ruined with the fan/vent.....and to position such a vent over the bed is poor planning.
