The house was clean and spacious enough to accommodate 15 people. The grandchildren loved the game room, as well as the adults. We never ran out of hot water while taking showers. It was only a 10 to 15 minute drive from the house to South Padre Island. There were no issues and we all had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed the property overall. We arrived with a group of 11 for 4 days, the overall space was great. However, we thought the close beach access would have been swimmable and it’s not. We drove 25 minutes to the Island each day. They provide enough linens for 2-4 people and if you need additional you must purchase it yourself. This is the same with any cleaning supplies needed, they provide a small kit. The kit includes one dishwasher use and other single use or mini cleaning items. If you need any additional cleaners or more than 2 (13g) trash bags you will need to purchase them yourself. We did have a maintenance issue during a stay and the maintenance team and the communication with the team is fantastic.

Family vacation

The place is great. Beautiful home. More than enough room. It was 13 of us. Ages 5+. We had a great time. Close to several different things. Now the negatives. Communication goes through a company. The text the use they never answer or answer hours later. Trying to talk to someone is awful. There are several windows that will not lock. The locking mechanism is broken. Not the actual window. They do not have blinds downstairs just thin sheet curtains. So very little privacy. The kind bed upstairs the bed frame is as broken since we got there. We tried to reach out to someone about it but again communication is awful. We threw the mattress on the floor and slept there. The backyard and front porch swing are adorable. Unfortunately impossible to use. The mosquitos are absolutely terrible! We couldn’t open either door without being attacked. Aside from the negatives we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Property

The arcade room was a hit with the kids and there was a park down the street. Lots of beds for our big family. The place was clean. It had all the cookware we needed. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. Stores were nearby. Location was convenient.Check in and Getting in was easy.

Multiple Issues - Overgrown yard/nondraining bathtub

The yard had 1- to 2-foot-tall grass front and back, it had not been maintained. The code to the door did not work. The instructions given during the phone call did not help. Lock box for house keys was not where they said it was. It was on the railing of the porch. The description of the lock box and keypad was not accurate. When it was finally open it came apart and it was difficult to fix. It was a bigger issue when we checked out as the lock box for the keys was not securing the keys for the door. I told the person on the phone and several of us tried to get is to close. It took a stronger person to close it. Beds were very uncomfortable. Sofas were the best place to sleep and the master bed upstairs. The upstairs bathroom in the hallway has an issue with the tub filling with water and did not drain properly. Called the number and they could not tell me when it was going to be fixed only that they would notify the manager/owner. The bottom refrigerator drawer was broken and when pulled out it fell on the floor. The neighborhood left a lot to be desired. When we arrived there was a man in an SUV that was revving the engine, playing very loud music and peeled out in front of the house. Curtains were extremely sheer on the downstairs windows there should have been thicker curtains. It did not make us feel safe. There was also a knock on the door from a local politician wanting to speak with everyone about an upcoming election. I ask that person to leave the property.
