Brilliant break in Brittany

Our family had a wonderful stay in this excellent villa in the fantastic village of Porspoder. There was plenty of space for our family of four and our dog. The property was great and the private pool was superb. Perfect to splash around in and play in the heat - we even went in when it was raining! There is a brilliant shop (Utile) about 3-5mins walk from the property which catered for everything we needed for the week and with the beach about 5-10mins walk away, we were able to walk along the coastline and spend every night watching the sunset from the rocks. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing, re-energising holiday in Brittany then look no further than this.

Lovely holiday home

We had such a lovely week in Porspoder. This holiday house was perfect in every way: spacious enough for a family of five including two teenagers, space to relax inside and out, all round very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you might need. Our children loved the pool (and the adults did too :-)). Our hosts were friendly, really helpful and made us feel very welcome. Porspoder beaches are a short walk away, and so are two lovely creperies, a boulangerie, a pizzeria and a Michelin starred restaurant. Spar supermarket five minutes walk away could easily cater for most meals too. Thoroughly recommend.

Endroit très calme, maison très spacieuse avec un beau jardin et une grande piscine. Avec 2 belles salles de bains. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et le rapport qualité prix est vraiment intéressant en sachant qu'il y a une piscine privative.

Sehr schönes großes Haus, tolle Lage

Schönes Haus mit Garten mit sehr guter Lage, sehr Nahe an Supermarkt, Strand, Bäckerei etc. Parken direkt vor der Tür.Küche komplett ausgestattet, wir mussten allerdings die Küche und das Geschirr/Besteck noch reinigen. Geräumiges Wohn/Esszimmer und sehr schöner Pool (1,40 tief) im abgegrenzten Garten, so dass auch der Hund etwas Abwechslung hat. Sehr freundliche Kommunikation, Staubsauger war defwkt und wurde sofort ausgetauscht. Die Sofas und Stühle könnten mal eine Reinigung vertragen.

Maison agréable à porspoder

Accueil chaleureux et discret dans cette maison mitoyenne à Porspoder, à 2 min de la plage et des commerces de proximité. Bien insonorisée et sans vis à vis. Agréable jardin avec piscine chauffée. Porspoder est très bien situé pour les visites culturelles ou pour profiter de la nature sauvage. Entre amis, avec des enfants/ados, nous nous sommes régalés.

Rien ne manque dans cette location, les propriétaires ont pensé à tout pour faciliter notre installation et rendre notre séjour très agréable. La région est magnifique, la plage accessible à pied après un peu de marche, le GR 34 aussi, des commerces essentiels épicerie, pharmacie, boulangerie aussi ! Parfait pour un séjour reposant ou actif suivant nos envies.

Un séjour mitigé...

Un séjour mitigé : le point positif : la maison est plutôt bien située avec toutes les commodités à proximité : superette, pharmacie, boulangerie, presse, restaurants... Le logement est propre, mais une forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre du RDC. Attention aux escaliers difficiles d'accès pour des petits ou des personnes âgées. Mais il eut été nécessaire de préciser qu'une maison est en construction juste derrière la maison et que l'on tombe nez à nez avec les ouvriers le matin en se levant, ainsi que quand on est tranquillement dans le jardin. Les transats au bord de la piscine ne sont pas des transats, mes beaux-parents, âgés de 75 ans n'ont pu en profiter puisqu'il s'agit de coques posées au sol, pas l'idéal pour se relever (et 1 seul matelas pour 4 transats ?). Le mobilier de jardin était également hors d'usage, le barbecue était inutilisable également car dégoutant. Pourquoi ne pas changer les transats et le mobilier de jardin ? De ce que nous avons pu voir, cela a été fait dans la maison d'à côté. Enfin, la maison mitoyenne appartenant au même propriétaire, et les animaux étant autorisés, nous avons subi les aboiements incessants du chien des locataires d'à côté. Tous ces désagréments nous ont presque fait oublier le fait que le lave-vaisselle ne fonctionnait pas, celui-ci a été remplacé le jeudi, soit 5 jours sur 7 sans lave-vaisselle. Clairement, à + de 2000€ la semaine, on s'attend à mieux.

Maison tres agréable et idealement située

Accueil chaleureux. Joli village de caractère. Nous étions 5 adultes et un enfant de 3 ans. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette grande maison joliment décorée (mitoyenne donc si vous recherchez le silence absolu...) avec globalement tout l'équipement nécessaire et piscine à température idéale. A 5mn à pieds de jolies criques et supermarchés entre 15 et 30mn. Point de départ de belles balades alentour. Ce qui est toutefois à noter quand on a des enfants en bas âge : la location est plus adaptée à des adultes ou adultes et grands enfants car la piscine n'est pas sécurisée (annonce claire au niveau des photos) mais le point noir est les 3 grandes chambres de l'étage qui sont desservies par un escalier très raide å marches peu larges de type échelle, peu rassurant. Aussi il n'y a pas eu d'autre choix que d' ajouter un lit parapluie dans la chambre du bas qui se trouve être la plus petite avec deja peu de rangements (petite commode) donc les vêtements restent dans la valise. C'est dommage car l'étage est spacieux avec une très belle salle d'eau. Nous aurions préféré le savoir avant et c'est l'objet de mon commentaire. Sinon manquerait une poubelle de ville quitte à l'acheminer au bout du chemin sur le circuit des éboueurs. Les conteneurs de tri sont a l'extrémité de la ville et ce n'est pas top de remplir le coffre des sacs de déchets périssables. Quand on sait tout ça on fait son choix car le coût de la location est loin d'être négligeable.
