Great location and service.

Good hotel in the heart of the city. Parking was challenging but definitely adequate. Specially if you have a small vehicle. Rooms were simple and functional. Shower had no curtain, service was good, the front desk lady was courteous.

Perfect pit stop

Perfect pit stop on our way further south. Everything you need for a relaxing break ahead of the next leg. Ideally situated for old town exploring, cafes and restaurants.

Our room was small and very basic, though with a small balcony. The bathroom had a shower that relied on a water pump, which produced rhythmic surges in the pressure. The paper products were on the rough side.We stayed in a newer section, which has an elevator. The main building has a very elegant staircase, which fortunately we did not have climb, an agreeable old-fashioned parlor, and a serviceable breakfast room. Theoretically, there is a bar, but in practice there is no one to serve. There is good parking, which costs extra of course and must be reserved in advance. The staff is helpful and hospitable. The breakfast buffet featured a good selection of breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, yogurt, coffee, cocoa, juices, etc. The hotel is well located for restaurants and shopping, as well as sightseeing.

Hotel de Europe a small very comfortable hotel in this lovely historic city, good safe but limited parking. All very walkable, loved Poitiers.

Good location, clean, welcoming staff

This hotel is in a good location close to the Hotel de Ville and near plenty of restaurants. It was a basic room, but was a decent size, clean and comfortable enough. The shower was powerful and the temperature of the water was easily controlled, so bonus points for that! The reception staff were really friendly and very helpful, and made us feel welcome despite our limited French. We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on this - there are plenty of cafes nearby as an alternative. We would certainly stay here again if we return to Poitiers.

Nice size room, quiet, large comfortable bed, very clean, central location, friendly polite and English speaking staff. Arrived before checking in time and a great bonus the room was available. Please note no air con in room just a fan. Will be staying again on our next visit
