This charming house was built in 1919 with old-growth redwood framing - 2" x 12" beams. It has been completely renovated top-to-bottom, inside and out by a master craftsman and stonemason, with a chef's kitchen, custom cabinets, fireplace, walk-in closet, stone and floor work throughout, and a mud room. Perfect for a family or two couples. It is mere minutes from the Point Reyes National Seashore, Tomales Bay with its swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating and numerous oyster beds and seafood restaurants. The home is on a dead end cul-de-sac with only a few homes above, thus extremely quiet. Yet the main road, 200 yards away, as a grocery store and deli, with a very small pub.
There is small orchard and garden on a half acre, with a natural spring in a forest setting. Apple tree Pettingill variety, Plum tree variaties include dapple dandy, flavor queen, pluot, and santa rosa, Pineapple guava, Meyer lemon, avocado, and fig. Berry bushes include blueberry, boysenberry, black currant, blackberry. Huckleberries in abundance along some trails in the Point Reyes national seashore next door.
