Beautiful and comfortable

We had a lovely time at the Arched Chalet for my family's annual vacation in Vermont. It was very comfortable, well-appointed, and in a great location. Even in the summer heat we did not need the AC - it was so comfortable with the fans and the lower level is naturally cool. Great location near Camp Plymouth (we went to the lake twice), and restaurants/shops in Ludlow and Woodstock.

Perfect Place

The setting was unique with multiple places to hang out. Plenty of space. The kitchen was nice. It was extremely convenient for skiing at Okemo and Killington. Everything was beautifully renovated. We loved the hot tub. My family skied while I stayed at the chalet and it was the perfect get away for us all. I just wish we had friends staying with us as the place was big enough for another family!

Annual Girls Weekend

Highly anticipated stay at the Chalet started off a little bit anticlimactic due to some unforeseen situations. Weird late winter/early spring storm hit VT on Thursday before our arrival (over a foot of snow and Plymouth had no power). That all would been okay since the home was equipped with a generator but...it was not working. After 3 plus hours of waiting and also driving 15 miles south twice to get cell service, power came back at around 6:20pm. We had to shovel to get a clear pathway to the front door too (sigh) and although originally offered, we couldn't find the snow shoes. Plus side: house was beautifully decorated and we loved the hot tub. The 5 of us are very good friends so it was easy to shift from a negative to a positive so soon enough , we were laughing, enjoying Vermont, and the Chalet. Pointers for owners who are new to owning and renting: hire a 24/7 service for emergencies and last minute snow shoveling. It would likely bring a piece of mind for them and for guests when the "unexpected" happens.

Great play to stay for a ski trip!

My friends and I did a long weekend in VT and this house was perfect for us. The hosts were super responsive and very helpful. Will stay there again if we do another ski trip there.

Picturesque Vermont stay

The place was super cute, exactly as pictured. The decor is beautiful, felt very homey. Clearly well taken care of. Few things to note for people- the fridge is small, not exactly a mini fridge but definitely not a normal sized one. We almost couldn’t fit all the food we brought. The hot tub looks a lot smaller in the pictures but is a good size and can probably fit five to six adults. The backyard is small, mostly overgrown but there is a little fire pit. We went at the end of summer so the trees were still full and there wasn’t much of a view of the mountains unfortunately. All of that said, we would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful home

Short two night trip with the guys for some skiing at Killington. House was ideally located midway between Okemo and Killington. Cooked in one night, house had everything needed for a great pasta meal. The house had comfortable beds, two areas to lounge and relax. The view out the large windows is to die for.

Loved the arched chalet!

We had a great stay at the arched chalet! It was super clean and comfy and decorated just beautifully! Picturesque views out of the gorgeous living room windows. We loved the location and the kids thought it was so fun driving up the hill to the property. It really felt like a magical vacation!

Warm and serene property

The Arched Chalet is a warm and inviting property nestled in a wooded area and close to many amenities. The property decor bodes a modern chalet feel with all necessary amenities and well equipped with numerous bedrooms/beds. Communication with the owner was prompt and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this property!

Cozy house on mountain side

Great rental—situated on a mountain side overlooking Plymouth (has close access to the Catamount Trail for skiers and hikers), this house was wonderful space for our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The kitchen was very well equipped (a super important part of a rental in my book) and the house had a generator— which was very reassuring to know since we stayed during a pre-Christmas wind and rain/snow storm. Great WiFi and streaming TV options for those who care. We had a great dinner in Ludlow (20 mins away) one night (Homestyle Hotel). This would be a gorgeous spot in any season. Owners were very accommodating. Thanks for the memories!
