The collection of properties was very nice and pleasant, the staff in every area was kind and accommodating, the ambiance was nice and the general aesthetic was sweet. The Palmer Inn was somewhat rundown and had several things that needed addressing. In our specific hotel room, the beds were very comfortable with comfortable pillows, but the bathroom fan sound was very disruptive, the bathroom sink handle was falling off, one of the main plug-in outlets wouldn't hold whatever was plugged into it, and one of the bed lamp knobs was missing, meaning that you had to share with the other bed lamp in order to turn each one off. Also, in the common area, the water station was not regularly refilled, so if you didn't get your water early enough, you were out of luck. The building in general is just old and needs an update, but it is cute and will be nice once things are remodeled.
