Excellent experience

This area is idyllic! The house is well equipped and very accessible to beach and north to mid evil villages. The pool will make you want to stay at the house the whole day vs leave. Andrew was very responsive. We will be back again but next time for a longer stay.

Lovely Villa, great location and excellent hosts

We had a lovely time at Villa Joya with our family of 2 adults and 4 children (all teens). The villa is spacious, the pool is large and the outdoor kitchen is terrific (Pizza Oven and BBQ were often used in the three weeks we were there). The villa is a short driving distance away from the centre of the charming village of Plan de la Tour with a number of really good restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. St Maxime is only 15 minutes away with access to the beaches and a wide variety of restaurants, markets and shops. The hosts were very helpful before and during our stay, offering tips and advice on where to go for great meals. A really nice time was had by all of us. Thanks again Andrew and Emma.

Villa Joya

A superb traditional villa which has been tastefully modernised in parts but retaining many of its original features. The villa is spacious and is fully equipped to provide for all our needs. The standout features of this villa which separates from most alternatives is the outstanding pool and gardens which include a novel external kitchen area with its own bar which is also fully equipped and heightens the enjoyment of outdoor living. Ambience at nightime is further enhanced by the excellent external lighting system. The owner, Andrew, was exceptionally helpful in answering all questions immediately and the local contact, Paul, was constantly on hand and went to great efforts to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Le Plan de la Tour is an ideal base to discover the area and the village itself is delightful and provides for most needs including shops, a couple of small supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a lively market on Thursday.

A fabulous stay with great communication throughout from booking to departure. The Villa is a picture postcard with everything you could wish for and more, we hardly left as dining in around the pool with bbq and pizza oven just made a great family experience. Full marks to Andrew and Paul.

A perfect Villa and thoroughly enjoyable holiday

My family (4 adults, 1 10-month old) thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Villa Joya in June. The house is ideally located just a few minutes drive from the local village which has plenty to offer, it’s also a short drive to the likes of St Maxime and St Tropez, is easy to get to/from Nice airport and last but not least the Villa is just a 30 second walk to a fantastic pizza restaurant. The house itself is stunning, perfectly in-keeping with the area, nice cool stone exterior and welcoming and ideal inside for everything you could need. The pool was just fantastic for the hot days, the pool bar and bbq area was used very frequently and enjoyed the villa at night so much that we hardly ate out, preferring to enjoy our surroundings with dinner at the Villa via the pizza oven. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with, access to the house was easy and all this combined together made for a fantastic holiday for the family. 10/10!!! Will be back!

Wonderful stay

The house is exactly as advertised. It’s wonderful. The outdoor area with the pool is beautiful. The indoor kitchen is fully stacked and fantastic if you like to cook. Wi-fi works perfectly well. Andrew was awesome in answering all questions before we arrived and when we were there which was great. And the house is 5 min drive from town with a bunch of cute restaurants and cafes and bakeries. Highly recommend!

Villa Joya is absolutely charming!

We had an excellent stay in this ideally quiet villa in the Provencal town of Plan-de-la-Tour. Villa Joya is a beautiful stony house located in a quiet residential area surrounded by wine yards. The location is a perfect base to do whichever you feel like doing in that particular Provence area: go to one of the beaches, visit Ste Maxime, St Tropez, have some wine tastings, or have a nice meal in the authentic village of Plan de la Tour. The house offers all you need: big pool, outdoor pool shower, BBQ, pizza oven, relaxation spots in the beautiful garden, a beautiful terrasse. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, spacious rooms with all private bathroom. The owner is very nice and responsive to any query you might have. Whenever we will come back to the area in the future, we will for sure rent Villa Joya again.

This is a great property with very nice southern aspect with good sized pool and outside kitchen (which we used a lot). The kitchen is large and well-equipped. There is a good pizza place up the road but you will need to drive (5 min) into Plan de la Tour for provisions. Andrew (owner) was super-responsive, both before and during our stay, and his local manager (Paul) was also helpful and always avalable to answer queries.

Awesome villa near St. Maxime

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. Andrew was a great host who went out of his way to make our stay most enjoyable. He also offered useful suggestions on what do to on our visit to the St Tropez area. The villa was well stocked. We enjoyed the beautiful patio, pool and pool bar. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing g Villa, Terrific Owner

Villa Joya is even better than what you see online. It's sprawling, authentic, fully up-to-date and the owner is very responsive— gets back to you very quickly, generously provides helpful tips and area information. Plus it's the South of France! Plan de la Tour looks like a movie set, but it's the real thing. Don't miss Wednesday morning's street market. The produce, the bread, the fruit, the nuts … Live like a local. It's an amazing villa and a great experience.

Perfect - Paradise Found!

The whole family have simply had our best time ever staying at Villa Joya... The property is perfect for family holiday, the pool is fantastic, the outdoor kitchen is simply amazing - I haven't seen one so well equipped in any other villa? Traditional Italian wood fired oven - the kids loved cooking their own pizzas, and the adjacent outdoor beer fridge was a magnet for those shaded chilled drinks at the bar on a hot day. ...or you could go to the outdoor lounge... or you could go to the outdoor dining area where we had some great lunches shaded by the vines. Loved it!! The only downside is that we didn't see half the areas we had planned to.... life at Villa Joya is certainly hard to tear yourself away from! We will have to come back.... Please.... ;-)

Lovely villa in pretty village with a great pool

Stayed for a week in this lovely villa. It was late Sunday afternoon when we arrived and most supermarkets were closed but Andrew quickly responded to my text for help and pointed us in the direction of the village shop which has all the essentials. The village is a little way down the hill and has a number of restaurants and shops. The villa itself was comfortable and clean and the kitchen is well stocked with crockery, pans and serving dishes. We didn’t use the pizza oven or bbq but sat out lots in the evenings and enjoyed the outdoor seating area and bottle lighting over the outdoor kitchen. The outdoor dining table is large enough for a big group. Make sure you get citronella candles though - the insects are out in force in August! The pool was lovely and was used a lot during the week. We didn’t find the pool towels but had brought some for the beach and used those. I’m quite sure Andrew would have sorted quickly if we’d asked. Overall a great weeks holiday. Thank you!

Family of 4 - early August 2019

Great communications throughout, we felt we could txt at anytime and would get an answer. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The Villa is stunning, located on a quiet road just outside Plan de la Tour. The village has everything you need although there is a large Carrefour just 15mins drive away. The Villa has a homely, comfortable feel where you can really relax without fear of getting anything out of place or spoilt. The garden/pool/bar/BBQ area is excellent, we spent our entire time out there and had great fun.! Our overall experience from start to finish was great, the photo’s are accurate and I would highly recommend a stay.

Lovely house, Perfect outside area. Had 6 teenagers with us and they loved the pool, bar and pizza oven! Would definitely stay again. Short drive to lots of Lovely places as Sainte Maxime, Port Grimaud, St Tropez, Beautiful beaches along the coast. House situated next to grape wines. Beautiful area of Plan de La Tour. Best equiped house we have ever rented in France. Highly recommended.

Great outdoor space and the pool is wonderful although no real shallow end. Beautiful views. Local village lovely and close to the coast Lots of space internally and well equipped kitchen. Not as clean as we would have liked and it would have been nice if some basics like rubbish bags would have been provided. We were there in a very hot week and we really missed having air con in most of the bedrooms. Would have been nice to have been walking distance to local amenities

Loved the villa. Great location for touring the area and coast generally. Andrew and Emma were great. We gave them a list of groceries which they had waiting for us. They also greeted us the first night and cooked pizzas for us in their oven, which was delicious. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning villa & location, already making plans to go back!

From the time of booking Villa Joya, to the time we left this beautiful villa and location, things couldn't have gone any better. Andrew and Emma kept us updated on everything about the villa, as well as how each and every facility worked. Communication with Andrew was superb, from booking until the time we left, usually responding to any queries we had within minutes!! The pictures do not do this villa justice. It is much larger in reality, and is superbly equipped with every mod con you could think of. The pool bar was the gathering point each and every evening for us and our 5 friends, (plus Maverick, our labradoodle, who loved the Bar-B-Q and whatever he was able to scrounge from it) :-) The Bar-B-Q, & beer fridge in particular make this the ideal location to relax after a hot day out visiting the vineyards, Monaco, Cannes or St Tropez, all of which are within easy reach of the villa. The villa is immaculate, well laid out, secure and has everything to make you feel at home. Well equipped kitchen, great showers in all bedrooms. Wifi in & outside of Villa, Great selection of TV channels to choose from, particularly useful when you want to keep up with the Ryder Cup!! The pool and gardens are beautiful, and well maintained. Plan de la Tour is a lovely village, and the locals are very friendly. The bakers is superb, and was my first call at the start of every day! There is really nothing negative to say about Villa Joya, and we hope to be back at some point in 2019. Thank you Andrew & Emma (& Oscar) for letting us experience your wonderful Villa Joya. My first visit to the South of France (although my wife has been several times previous) but now I am hooked!!

Amazing villa with everything you need

Villa Joya - our expectations were surpassed within seconds of arriving at Villa Joya. We have rented many villas over the years and it's always a nervous moment as you approach your holiday accommodation for the first time. No such fears with this place which was magic. The fabulous pool bar where many evenings were spent making pizzas and drinking the contents of the beer fridge (maybe a smaller fridge would have helped with the following morning?!), the fabulous pool that we had to drag the kids out of each day, the secure grounds, the well equipped interior.... my only reservation was that we spent so much time at the villa, we didn't get to see half of what we had planned to. Maybe we need to go again :-))) Fab !!

Beautiful villa with an amazing pool and outdoor area.

We stayed in Villa Joya in August 2018 for one week and had the most amazing time. The villa was more than large enough for a family of six and the outside grounds extensive. We were particularly impressed with the pool and pool bar area which included a wood fired pizza oven and barbecue area. The children's favourite part of the stay was making their own pizzas in the pool side pizza oven. Location was also fantastic, five minutes from the centre of the beautiful Plan de La Tour and 15 minutes from St Maxime. We would seriously recommend anyone wishing to sample the beauty of the French Riviera to try Villa Joya. Thank you to Andrew and Emma for handling our booking and the excellent help before and during our stay. First class!
