Amaziny chalet

We had an amazing few days in the chalet. The chalet is extremely cosy whilst still being spacious. Whilst the surroundings are stunning. The location is perfect for eating out and going on hikes.

Fine holiday but with some problems.

The holiday-home is beautiful and fully equipped. But there was no one to show us around nor were there written instructions about how to use these equipment. As a result we had no heating, the showers gave only cold water the first morning and we could not the hob to work, because in the Netherlands we cook on gas. Fortunately we had with us one person with some technical knowledge, who solved the problems after half a day of puzzling. Our proposal is to put written instructions in the home, so that many problems can be prevented. When we got home it turned out that te owner tried to reach us by E-mail, but on vacation we dont have our computer with us. Despite these comments we had a succesful holiday in Plainfaing.

Heel aangenaam huisje. Bedden netjes opgemaakt bij aankomst, handdoeken aanwezig. De keuken was voorzien van vanalles en goede bedden.In de buurt tal van supermarkten en een goede uitvalsbasis om allerlei bezoeken te doen in de Vogezen.

Wonderful chalet with lovely mountain view

We had a blast! The chalet is well equipped and the surrounding area is stunning. Pillows could be replaced as they are very hard and are more like couch pillows. Also some more hangers for towels etc. in the bathrooms would be great.

Les paysages magnifiques, les forĂȘts verdoyantes et les sentiers de randonnĂ©e ont fait de chaque journĂ©e une aventure inoubliable.La Route des CrĂȘtes, avec ses panoramas Ă©poustouflants, est un incontournable. Le Col de la Schlucht est particuliĂšrement impressionnant, offrant des vues spectaculaires et de nombreuses possibilitĂ©s de randonnĂ©es en raquettes.J'ai Ă©galement visitĂ© GĂ©rardmer, une charmante ville avec son magnifique lac.La visite de la confiserie des Hautes-Vosges Ă  Plainfaing a Ă©tĂ© un vĂ©ritable rĂ©gal pour les papilles, avec une dĂ©gustation de bonbons artisanaux.Ne manquez pas les Cascades de Tendon, un endroit paisible oĂč la nature vous entoure et vous apaise.La gastronomie locale ne m'a pas déçu non plus. Confort et Ă©quipement complet

Le chalet est trĂšs confortable et surtout il ne manque rien ! Seul bĂ©mol l'escalier trĂšs petit pour accĂ©der aux chambres du bas, nous avons laissĂ© le grand lit Ă  ma mĂšre de 82 ans pour qu'elle n'ai pas Ă  utiliser l'escalier. À part ça trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© pour les familles.
