Me and my wife enjoyed our stay at the Holiday inn. The room was comfortable with water, tea and coffee provided in the room. We had buffet breakfast the next morning with we really enjoyed. Overall an excellent stay close to the airport with free shuttle provided.

We had mobility scooters and this hotel was easy and very accommodating for guests needing help or additional needs. The hotel might improve food services as there did not seem to be alternate choices in close vicinity although for our short stay it was adequate and the happy hour and breakfast met our needs.

We had issues with hotel side, we were told yesyerday that if we sign up for IHG membership that we are eligible for early check in and late check out. This morning we called at 10 AM and asked for a late check out and we were told NO, the rooms are already allocated. So, we rushed to get ready to vacate the room.My husband also called front desk to send for Bell to help with our luggage and scheduled a shuttle service pickup for MRU. Five minites prior to the shuttle is scheduled to arrive, no bell service so, we decided to drag luggages down and the hotel desk people are just staring with no offer to help. No one else was at the lobby since it is dead! We are fuming at this point and asked to speak with a manager. The Restaurant Executive Assistant Manager showed up and patiently heard all complaints.He cordially offered us lunch when we he found out flight is still 5 hrs away. The restaurant staff and Mr. Ved couldnt be more accomodating. Thank you, Mr. Ved for making it right. You are a Gem to Holiday Inn ,Mauritius.

Staff was really nice, changed our bedding when I told them of found stains, fridge not working, maintenance came said door was left open, told him we had just opened the fridge and found it warm, was told to give it a few hours to see if it works, never did work, maintenance too lazy in my opinion to just change the fridge and deal with the fridge to appease the customer.

Wonderful hotel!

Lovely airport hotel, free shuttle bus to/from airport, shopping and the beach! Wonderful pool to cool off. The 1933 restaurant is very tasty and bar makes lots of cocktails. Great stay for airport transfer.
