Spacious house with excellent features and host!
10/10 Vrbo experience! My party included 6 adults and 3 children (one being a young toddler) meeting up for a family get together. This space was perfect for our large group and very family friendly. They had a crib, baby monitor, changing table, and high chair, which made traveling with a toddler so much easier. Additionally, there was plenty of space, big beds, and features such as TVs in the bedrooms, several phone/tablet charging stations, plenty of bathrooms, and a fully stocked coffee/tea station that became a group favorite. Also, cannot speak highly enough about the host, Tom, who was very communicative, easy to reach, and went above and beyond (stocking the fridge with our preferred creamer, providing passes to the natural history museum). The house is in a great walkable area right by several grocery stores. Property is as great as it looks in the picture and next time we are in Pittsburgh we definitely will try to stay here again!

Excellence in All Aspects
We travel at least one week a month and stay in bnbs from Maine coast to California vineyards. The home was the highest quality, and the host was the most responsive and helpful I have ever experienced. The home perfectly accommodated three adult families and a toddler. We all had privacy and beautiful spaces to be alone or together. Everything we needed was included. Comfortable, perfectly clean, and the best location in Pittsburgh…we have visited here for years. Walk to restaurants, groceries, and sights. Stayed here a week while preparing and attending our daughter’s wedding. You will appreciate everything about this bnb. Don’t hesitate to book it. You will be thankful you did!

The Best!
Tom's Shadyside house is the best! We were in Pittsburgh for our son's wedding, and this house delivered! Thursday night we had out-of-town friends over for take-out Thai food and the dining room table accommodated all 10 of us. (A real dining room!) Friday, all the rest of the family arrived, and everyone settled into the 4 comfortable bedrooms, including a one-year-old. (Tom has everything for infants and toddlers), and parking for 4 cars. Saturday we had plenty of full bathrooms (3) for everyone to get ready for the wedding. And Sunday morning, extended family from both the bride and groom's side came over for coffee (the Coffee Room is amazing, with every coffee maker imaginable) and food (Giant Eagle Marketplace grocery store is less than a block away.). There is so much room in this house's first floor for impromptu entertaining: 3 comfortable couches in the living room, a big dining room table with seating for ten, and a gracious kitchen island with three stools for sitting or standing around and talking. By noon Sunday, after an amazing fun gracious weekend, the crowds were gone and my husband and I relaxed for two days and enjoyed the house's comfort, location (walked less than a block for Middle Eastern food to go, just one of the options within 2 blocks)(Shadyside is the best!), and hospitality (Tom, the host, gave us passes to the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History). This house has everything: Location (Shadyside), Comfort, and a gracious attentive host.

Wonderful Home in Shadyside
This home is clean, comfortable, big enough for a large family, well appointed, and in a great location. While I recognize that others might not like to walk as much as we do, many of the places we wanted to go in Shadyside, Oakland, and Bloomfield were walkable for us. Also, there's a grocery store right around the corner.
The host was fantastic, too. What we asked for, we got. I would certainly book here again.

Perfect Pittsburgh location
This is a wonderful house, with space for 10 and a gracious and thoughtful host. House was spotless, stocked with coffees and very comfortable. Guests must be okay with stairs!
If you want a great location for museums, restaurants and even parks/pool for kids, this is it. My family enjoyed their stay and we visited lots of nearby museums. Walkable area surrounds the house.
Enjoy! This house would also work for small work teams traveling together.

Family Wedding Weekend
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Tom's VRBO for our sons wedding. I can't say enough about how kind and attentive Tom was throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and had all the information we needed for a smooth and fun visit. The house itself has everything you would ever need, plenty of space for everyone and extras that made it feel like home. The neighborhood is safe, central and easy to walk to shops, restaurants and things to do. This was the nicest rental we have ever stayed and hope to stay there again for graduation in a couple of years!!!

This Home is a Gem
We were in town for a family event, grandparents, parents, and two grandchildren under 1, and this house could not have been more perfect. Plenty of seating and room for everyone. The host went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for the babies. He also had many nice touches for the adults!! You wake up to so many coffee selections in the morning, even a Frother! The kitchen has everything you need. We had umbrella's available for the rainy Pittsburgh weather and at the end of the day you retire to very comfortable beds! This home is the perfect place to stay while visiting Pittsburgh, if it's available for your dates treat yourself and stay here!

PITTSBURGH WEDDING WEEKEND
We were in Pittsburgh for our son's wedding, this house was AMAZING!!. Even before we checked in Tom was in contact to explain the check in process. This house is beautifully decorated, everything you could possibly need during your stay is provided, even extra touches, creamers, coffees, waters, homemade biscotti. Tom checked with us to see if we needed anything, he is such a gracious host. The location was ideal, we walked to Shadyside shopping and dining area within minutes. This house suited us perfectly. We can not say enough about the kindness of Tom, he even provided us with extra parking during the weekend. We hope to return again because this was ideal in every possible way!!!
