The apartment was listed as a 2 bedroom there was only one. They only had towels for 3 people and there was four. No communication after we checked in and questioned the 1 bedroom apartment and why it wasn’t to bedrooms.

Clean and cozy but does not sleep more than 2

Everything at first glance seemed fine, it was nice and clean. However at bedtime we noticed that the couch sofa is not that, its more of a trundle bed but only for one adult. The listing says the rental fits two adult and two kids. There is no way to fit two people on this sofa. Further it had many stains and cigarette burns. It was not the blue sofa shown in the image on the listing. Also while quiet hours are 10PM-7AM someone in the building was blaring house music at 7:04AM which was unfortunate.

A bit annoyed!

The location is central and it’s a cool industrial building. The unit has everything you need and decent design. My issue was the room reeked of marijuana for the 3 nights we stayed. Also the bathroom door would not close and lock. Plus I did see a small cockroach by the coffee maker. The worst part is I asked for a partial refund on and for just the first night, but apparently was denied.

Highly recommended

This is my third time staying on this property. As I traveled by myself and not with family this time I rented a smaller one bed room apartment. The main living area was a little dark, but overall I loved it. Spacious, convenient, all the appliances you need. I love that shampoo and detergent is provided... it's these little things that make a big difference traveling. We come here as my son attends Carnegie Mellon University. Every time I look at booking a hotel and end up booking a unit on this property. Cheaper, more space, much more convenient. 20 minute walk to campus. Easy to connect via bus also.

Overall I tried to make this trip as enjoyable as possible but it was just really hard. The first night we stayed in our room and was woken by 5:00AM by traffic because the bedroom was right next to it and the walls were super thin. So understanding I was in the city I just asked for a quieter room. So they gave us the largest suite which was great but I couldn’t change the temperature and I was woken up at 4:00AM by construction that was happen right across from the room we were staying in. It was a really nice place but I just didn’t get any sleep. It just sucked and made my 5 hour back home drive even longer.

Loft apt gem

This is a gem in a building that was an abandoned industrial building that was made new with modern funky apts on the upper floors and athletic and youth entertainment on the lower two floors. Had a great 1BR apt for half the price of a hotel room.

Very comfortable stay!

Everything about the unit was great! Communication with property was difficult through Hotels.com. not sure where the issues originated. However, i would definitely use this place again if we go back to Pittsburgh!
