Our cedar cottage on pristine, spring-fed Big Whitefish Lake is an all-season retreat and full of charm! The views from this lakefront home are unforgettable. The cottage offers four bedrooms, including a newly remodeled basement and bathroom. You can head down the new stairs to your own brand-new private dock, just a short swim from another dock that features two diving boards (available until Labor Day). Two kayaks and a rowboat are available for use, as well as swim floats and beach toys between May and September. Good fishing available off our dock This is a wonderful remote work location with excellent WiFi. Pets are welcome!
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

The house and its rooms were very clean and ready to use. We had everything we needed (and much more) to cook, grill, shower, clean, roast, play, relax, etc.The view to the frozen lake from the back porch and from the dock was amazing.I would 10/10 recommend to stay here ! My family and myself had a great 2-night stay.

This house was everything we were looking for in a Fall weekend getaway. We enjoyed kayaking, a beautiful sunrise, family game time in the screened in porch and even met a friendly squirrel and cat. The owner was very accomodating and responsive to communication.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The front porch is perfect for a relaxing moment of peace. There is a long staircase to the lake, but the clear, calm waters are worth the hike. The house is well stocked with games and activities for families. There is a large front yard as well.

We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit. The screened in porch was nice to sit in and look out at the lake. The one drawback was the 79 steps to the dock. We got lots of exercise this weekend!!

Peaceful Stay on Big Whitefish Lake

An ideal place to getaway and enjoy the best of Michigan - cottage, lake, and the quiet closeness of nature! The cottage is clean and spacious with amazing views of Big Whitefish Lake and is close to GR and BR, and easy runs to grab groceries, etc. Ideal rental for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation - just wonderful!

We had an enjoyable stay and the accommodations were fine. We would recommend adding some lamps to the living room. The room was very very dark and the overhead fan lights were insufficient. Check in and check out were easy and the lake was beautiful.

Relaxing Vacation

We had a great time and relaxing vacation. House was spacious and comfortable. Loved the screen porch and the view of the lake. Fire pit was perfect on a chilly evening. Water is very clear and we had fun taking the kayaks out.
