Our holiday homes are in the the ancient Castillean village of Piedralaves (province of Avila) exactly at Las Viñas street, very close to the natural swimming pools called "the granddaughter" and "grandmother".

It is very nice and the views from the house are spectacular (green pine mountains all around, the "serradilla" and Lanchamala peaks- Gredos Range, Tietar River Valley, all very quiet and relaxing.)

On the one hand you can breathe peace, and on the other hand you are only at 5 minutes, a short walk from the historic & commercial village center.
The apartment is heated and features a patio and space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a microwave.

Tranquilidad que necesitabamos

Buscábamos un sitio cerca de Madrid, para un fin de semana, nos habían hablado del valle del tietar y Piedralaves en concreto, fue tal cual lo que buscábamos, tranquilidad, vistas increíbles, a 5 minutos del centro del pueblo o de las piscinas naturales, la bodeguilla, el venerito, paseos por el pueblo, ruta por la mañana, leerse un libro en la piscina, partida de mus, en fin que lo aprovechamos al máximo y volveremos seguro Pa propietaria flexible tanto en la entrada como la salida al final de la tarde sin problema

La peor anfitriona que te puedas encontrar y casa sucísima

No he visto anfitriona más maleducada, irrespetuosa y prepotente. Ella dirá que es una venganza por alguna razón que se invente, como en otros comentarios, a los que no hicimos caso, pero la verdad es que eran clavados a cómo nos encontramos la casa y cómo fue el trato de la anfitriona, por llamarla de alguna manera. Es una pena que la pésima limpieza y su desagradable trato empañen un entorno tan maravilloso. Fuimos 6 personas a uno de los apartamentos de abajo, y a pesar de su insistencia en que habían limpiado, cosa que, si es así, mejor me lo ponen, la casa estaba llena de telarañas con bichos y arañas colgando, en todas las esquinas de las habitaciones y debajo de sillas y mesillas, y eso no se forma de un día para otro como aseguraban o de esa misma mañana que dijeron que hicieron un repaso. Además de eso, pelos en la bañera, sábanas y... congelador, chorretón de jabón seco en la pared, cortinas de ducha negras de moho por abajo... Y todo esto, negado insistentemente por Ana, la "anfitriona", y no sólo eso, tratándome de mentirosa, de ofensiva, cuando en todo momento la hablé con respeto a pesar de la situación de la casa y que aceptamos las condiciones de pago por ser un inquilino más de lo que ella aceptaba, cosa que según ella era error de la página. La casa estaba en pésimas condiciones de limpieza, pero desgraciadamente eso no fue lo peor, fue tener que escuchar barbaridades de Ana por teléfono, eran mis vacaciones y no tenía ninguna gana de estar en esas circunstancias, y ella me ofendió, me habló irrespetuosamente, con chulería, y cito textualmente: "Ana, tengo 39 años y jamás he tenido que hacer esto con un apartamento..." y mientras terminaba la frase, ella dijo "pues aparentas más edad" con chulería y diciendo cuando yo le respondí "nada nada, no he dicho nada", en fin, indescriptible su actitud siendo anfitriona de una casa que acoge a personas que intentan disfrutar de días libres sin preocupaciones ni disgustos. Muy mala relación calidad-precio. Y su trato hacia los demás huéspedes de las otras casas fue agradable, preguntándoles qué tal el alojamiento, excepto a nosotros que apenas pronunció un "buenas". Como digo, ella alegará que esto es algún tipo de venganza como en otros comentarios anteriores, pero tenemos fotos para probar lo que decimos y usarlas formalmente
