This was a group booking for nine people. There were no problems with any of the rooms, which were very clean and well maintained. We arrived early and were told there would be no problem parking in the free car park and storing bags in the store room until check-in time. My friend was also able to charge his electric car in the car park. Check-in itself was very easy. We added breakfast on after not including it in the booking originall. Breakfast was really good, with lots of choice, plenty of places to sit and everything immaculately presented. Would definitely return here again. Really good value and great location.

The room was decent, I upgraded to Superior which should include robe and slippers. The robes were there, but no slippers. There was a distinct smell of drains in the room which I mentioned to the reception staff who said he would get it "freshened up." Another member of staff told us at checkout that it is a problem they are constantly complaining to the council about but nothing gets done. The food was okay, the buffet style breakfast much better than the overpriced evening meal. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food was ok, the breakfast

Lovely spacious and clean room. Nice touches, especially for the kids - activity books, free drinks. Very professional and attentive staff. Massive appreciated the heating being off when we went into the room - so many hotel rooms are so hot you can't get a decent night's sleep. Genuinely the best budget hotel experience we've had for ages and if was one of the cheaper options in the area

Hotel, in general, and room were clean and tidy. Even though close to the rail station and a company party on one of the nights we stayed, the party and rail noises did not penetrate the quiet of the hotel room. Close to the Xmas market and shopping. In general, a very pleasant stay.

We booked a superior room but on arrival I was told it had been given to someone else. The reception staff said they would put things like dressing gown and slippers into a standard room to make it the equivalent of a superior room. Because off a long journey to the hotel I could not be bothered to argue but the room given to us was small and lacked any comfort & there was no dressing gowns or slippers.
