You’ll frequently see ducks, Canada geese, turtles, herons, songbirds, and other native wildlife throughout the year.

Please note that the pond is intended for fishing and boating rather than swimming.

Pet Friendly
We know pets are family! Well-behaved dogs are welcome with approval. Because the property is unfenced and surrounded by wildlife, dogs must remain leashed whenever outdoors.

Important Information
This property uses private well water, which is very common in this rural area.

Due to naturally occurring iron in the groundwater, the water may occasionally have a light brown or orange tint, particularly after periods of heavy rain or changes in groundwater conditions. While the water is safe for bathing and household use, we provide complimentary bottled drinking water for every guest for the duration of their stay for your convenience.

You may also notice occasional iron staining in toilets or sinks—this is simply a natural characteristic of the local well water and not a cleanliness issue.

As this is a waterfront property, nature is part of the experience. Seasonal algae levels in the pond may vary throughout the year, and ducks and geese frequently visit the shoreline. While we do our best to keep the property looking beautiful, wildlife doesn’t always follow the rules—and that’s part of what makes this peaceful setting so special.
