Great location and exceptional hotel

Hotel Maja was a great place to stay. It's right on the coastal road with the beach across the street. Service and hospitality were excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent with the downtown area of Pescara is very walkable. Pescara downtown is a happening place with many restaurants and bars open late into the evening. The breakfast was great also.

The hotel is very conveniently located. Across the street from the beach. Plenty of dining options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All spoke Italian and English. Excellent service! The breakfast was good with a nice selection. The restaurant was also excellent for dinner. The food was delicious. The room was okay. Nice balcony view of the water. The only 2 issues. Air conditioning is not available before June 1. We were there the last week of May and the room was too hot in the afternoon. 2nd, the shower in the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in my life. It was smaller than 2 ft x 2 ft (60 cm). The door opening was only approx 40 cm. It was nearly impossible to take a shower without stepping out to turn around…!

Basic but Excellent VFM

Basic and pretty dated but very good value for money. Good staff. Very clean. Excellent breakfast for Italy. Quite far out of town centre and not much open in the area outside of peak summer season.

Everyone at this property from the cleaning staff, to the restaurant staff, to the front desk staff was always accomodating, and willing to provide assistance when needed. They helped book limos, and taxi's, and were very kind and pleasant to be around. Everyone is very approachable. They are always working to ensure their guests are taken care of. This hotel is located in a lovely location, not far from the city centre and has an excelent beach front.

Excellent Hotel

We stayed for 4 nights and very pleased with our stay. The staff were all very polite and very helpful even though we couldnt speak Italian. The breakfast had an excellent choice, shame it couldnt be proper self service due to the current covid restrictions in place. The staff worked very hard to amke sure everybody got served as quickly as possible.We wouldnt hesitate to book again

The street is pretty busy so takes some quick moves to park. All the seaside restarurants and shops are shut down although the weather is still warm. Seems to be a one trick pony.

Nice, small hotel. Breakfast good. Free parking. Free bike use for first hour. Good restaurants nearby. Walk 15 minutes to the center, along paved, wide sidewalk beside the beach. Safe place to walk!

One night stop off.

We were travelling from Como in the north to Ostuni (Puglia) in the south and needed a one night stop off. Hotel Maja was great. They accommodated our Siamese cat without any fuss. We had a room facing the sea with a balcony. The weather was atrocious, but in the summer it must be lovely. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Close to beach

The hotel is fine, with breakfast included, spacious room, etc. it has limited parking but there is more on the street, although it could be challenging to get a space in the high season. About a mile and a half from the high street, which means you either drive or plan for long walks. Nevertheless there are a few restaurants around the lungomare.
