This was our first time staying at Waterscape. It is a great family friendly resort. The pool area is awesome for kids. It is a great unit. Fully equiped. Easily accesible from the garage. The host is great and readily accessible for concerns. Will visit again.

Lack of amenities

Condo lacked basic essentials that are expected in vacation rentals.Mattresses were horribly uncomfortable. Owner has too many rules for use of thermostat.Building is old and has mildew smell.Cleaning crew was still cleaning property at check in time.For the price of this condo there are much better options.

Perfect Vacation Spot

My family enjoyed our stay, It was perfect. We were able to park right next to the doors heading to our room. The walk to the beach was convenient. Our grandbaby had so much fun playing in the pool area. Host were very helpful. We look forward to staying again.

Great Location

The apartment was bigger than expected which is always nice. The pool on the grounds was only heated in one pool which is unfortunate and out of Michaels control. Beach was super clean and well maintained with the beach chairs and umbrella. No issue and considering booking another stay already.

Fun in Fort Walton

The condo is very nice, has a great floorpan and the location was perfect. Although the view isn't great, we loved the proximity of parking to the unit and all the amenities the community has to offer. The unit is nicely decorated and clean for the most part, however when my grandchildren walked on the floors their feet were totally black afterward. Let me say that I do not fault the owner for this. I think the cleaning service being used isn't mopping and vacuuming the floors because when I sat on the floor for the first time with my granddaughter I could see dirt and crumbs everywhere and I know it wasn't us because we had just arrived.The only other issue was that the bunk area doesn't have a door and we missed that when looking at the photos. This makes it a challenge if you want children to sleep while adults are still awake.Overall, I would still recommend staying here, just make sure that the floors are mopped prior to arrival.

Perfect beachfront property

Last family vacation before our oldest gets married. We loved this property. The weather was cold and dreary, so we couldn't be on the beach like we hoped, but we loved the heated pool and hot tub. We'd stay here again.

First Time

Mr. Reid was a excellent host. He responded to all my question promptly. He had sent a list of places to eat and things to do. I like that parking was close to the places. I would stay here again. Thank you for the help of making new memories for my cousin first time in Florida. She loved the beach.
