Perfect Staycation Property

Labor Day Getaway

We loved this location and property. We were in town over Labor Day for a wedding and anticipated that it would be busy, but it was not. Even my young adult children commented on how laid back and quiet the area seemed. The property and amenities were just as expected. We never even went to a restaurant. We were able to cook and just enjoy the family time on the property. We opted not to use the shuttle and just drove to one of public beach access just down the road. (There are 2 close by.) Parking was limited, but we made it work. It was a great vacation. We plan to return!

Nice place, several issues

Overall good. Sheets on bed were not changed from the people before. Propane tank was empty had to find a place to exchange tank. Shuttle service to beach was ridiculous- the man driver was rude and after waiting for 50 minutes decided to walk. Britani was helpful in getting housekeeping over after we found a receipt in the bed the second night. After battling with Jason about the propane, she reimbursed me. Jason charged my account for a “lost” pool band which was his mistake because I was only given 5 to begin with. He acted like I was lying about how many o received. Thank goodness I had a picture.

We truly had a great time

The house was very welcoming, clean, and nicely decorated. We couldn't have asked for more. The community itself was well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. One drawback (not related to the property itself): The shuttle service to the beach. It wasn't actually the shuttle driver or the shuttle. It was the fact that there was only one shuttle running for the entire complex. The shuttle driver we had was very nice and tried to accommodate all the beachgoers staying in the community, but it is a very large community and a very small single shuttle, so many times we made the more than 1/2 mile walk back to the townhome because the wait could be up to 40 minutes. (Actually timed). 1/2 mile isn't that far, but when it's 97 degrees, you have been at the beach all day, and you have gear to lug, it seems like it's much further. Waiting 40 minutes in the heat also seems like an eternity, so the walk was the lesser of the two. I think the driver was doing the best she could, but the next unit we rent, we will look for a renter who has bikes available to use (if that's a thing). Overall, had a great time, and the home we stayed at was immaculate.

I wasn’t aware that there would be 2 flights of stairs at the condo. I had a terrible time climbing them, and now have a problem with my knee. Also the check in desk gave us instructions about not wearing the pool bracelets, but the gym security guard MADE them wear them! Communication needs to be on the same page within your organization!!

New, nice, and clean.

The place was as advertised: close to the beach, nice amenities, very helpful management staff, and free stuff. A few suggestions: it is a beach unit that sleeps six so a tankless water heater, an outdoor shower, grill utensils, and enough towels for the amount of people staying. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

A Fun Getaway

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay in this fabulous, immaculate rental. The location was perfect. The neighborhood is both peaceful and friendly. I wish we had more time to partake in additional activities while there. We even spotted deer one morning from the balcony! For future guests, bring a hairdryer if you think you will need one.
