I have to express that this is one of the best stays I've known in Paris, Let me begin with the Hosts. A wonderful couple, middle age, who live a few doors over. And the gentleman has work on this small studio for 2 years preparing it. It is small, about 18x18 feet, and the bath and kitchen are within that space. But Oh, the work he has done! The walls are troweled and crafted lime plaster which needs no paint, and is perfectly applied. The edges and finishes are craftsman in every way and the space has been so thought out, there is a light or switch or hook wherever you reach out. The bath is small but all is there including a clothes washer and hand tiled excellent shower and hot water. The kitchen as well but enough of pans and dishes and spices and soaps to manage full meals. Mainly, this is not a corporate or managed rush around studio rental, Exclt heating and privacy. The logistics are: Alexander Dumas Metro. Upon street level there is an Aldi across the intersection. From there it is about 200 feet to the street door. An electronic code opened to a corridor and one winds in to the studio. Perfectly protected. Another shop 100 feet further up the street and still another in 2 blocks. Bakery too. The 2 metro goes to the 1 at Nation in 2 stops and then along the t toward Arc Triumph and points outward. Feels more like family than a commercial run stay. Cozy, comfy and everything within reach. It was safe and charming to stay in this exceptional rental. Very lucky!
