Histórica cabaña en el país del caballo!

Nuestra cabaña de troncos ha sido completamente renovada y se encuentra a unos 30 minutos de Lexington, KY, a las afueras de Paris, KY en el condado de Bourbon. La cabaña está en Stoner Creek, en el corazón del país de pura sangre. Ha sido presentado en revistas y televisión.

Nuestra cabaña se encuentra a orillas de Stoner Creek (que es un pequeño río). Es ideal para practicar piragüismo, senderismo, pesca y paseos a caballo. Un hermoso porche proyectado te espera para disfrutar de un café matutino mientras disfrutas del goteo de la casa de primavera y los sonidos de la naturaleza. I stayed at this property while visiting my grandchildren. I was amazed at the styling and beauty of this cabin. The comfy chairs and the more comfy bed was excellent I felt like I was in another time. It was so cute! The kitchen was very well equipped. The screened in porch overlooking the stoner river was accommodating and nice to use in the morning with a cup of coffee. Any request I had was addressed immediately and I will stay there again. I hope to visit in the spring to take advantage of the tranquility and natural beauty!Thanks for allowing me to stay!
I made a fire in the fireplace with the wood that was provided. Cozy!

Memorable in the best of ways! A piece of heaven on earth. Beautiful rolling meadows, a winding creek at your doorstep, and the cabin-in-the-woods you dream about. Oh and sheep, a llama, and herds of horses (September) to watch and take in. Chet, Diane, and AJ are the perfect hosts with special touches throughout your stay. We WILL be back.

Very Relaxing

We were looking for a nice quiet weekend getaway and this place is perfect. Loved the area, my wife got to pet horses, what more could you ask? The record player and record selection was a nice touch.

Awesome Cabin!

This lovely log cabin/cottage was better than advertised. Cozy, quaint, attention to detail, rustic but modern amenities, turn table, wood for fireplace, kayaks, hosts are great, complimentary wine, views fantastic, cool animals and grounds, location is great to horse country and much more.

Absolutely loved it

My fiancé and I stopped here for a night while traveling through Kentucky. Everything about our experience was great and we really loved the cabin/location. Communication and assistance was very prompt. We will absolutely stay again next time we are passing through the area.

Peace and quiet

We had the most fabulous time enjoying the beauty and quiet this cabin had to offer. The inside is First Class and so is the hospitality of the owner. Walking around the farm was great and it’s a quick drive into Paris or Lexington.

Exceeded expectations - lovely property.

It’s not often that a property is better in person than is represented online, but that was our experience with this charming cabin in the rolling hills of Bourbon County, Kentucky. The cabin was beautifully appointed and well equipped for our five day stay. Nestled in the hills along the stinger river, we lacked foe nothing. The views were soothing and relaxing, and we were just a short drive from town and attractions in Winchester, Lexington and Berra. We plan to return.

My favorite Kentucky horse farm

Thank you Chet and Diane for another wonderful stay. I am relaxed from the moment I arrive until I must depart. The accommodations and hospitality are top notch - very well appointed and comfortable. Walking parts of the farm, as well as sitting outside and on the back porch looking at the river and reading are favorite past times. Nice to watch Dr. Pepper, the horses, sheep and those gorgeous sunsets! Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks to you both - as well as Topo and Chico!

Another World

Chet welcomed me to the world of Kentucky and horses in his historic log cabin. Cold nights were the perfect temperature for sitting by the fireplace and enjoying the quiet and dark of rural Kentucky. With little knowledge of horses, Chet arranged a magnificent tour of a local farm that gave me a glimpse into another world! His home is the perfect setting to explore the region.
