A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I stayed in room 2. Faces into a courtyard and right next to reception on the other side of the reception/courtyard connecting door. Was concerned it was going to be noisy, but really didn’t turn out that way. Surprised, amazed by the duplex style bathroom contained in the lower level. Pretty swanky shower set up - wish I’d brought my wife on the trip so we could get maximum use out of the space ;-)

The location was about a 25 minute Metro ride to the Eiffel Tower. The room was really nice just like the photos. There are tons of restaurants and shops in walking distance.

Rude receptionist

Hotel is small but was clean. Nice neighborhood. The inly problem i had was the receptionist that was working there on a Saturday afternoon. He was rude to me when i arrive and he almost yelled at me when i did not understand him. I was feeling bad all day that day ,he made me feel horrible. Not good costumer service. The other receptionist jhon i think is his name, was really nice in the evening.

Outstanding staff

I stayed in one of the superior rooms which was over two floor, with the bathroom being down a spiral stair. The room looked out onto a small shared courtyard type area. The bathroom was huge and possible the best shower I have ever used in a hotel! The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, I had an issue with my hire car breaking down in a car park down the road from the hotel. The staff called me a taxi, dealt with the hire company, the hotel manager even moved the car to charge it for me and paid to park it, all whilst I was stuck at a meeting!! I did not eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast which was basic but very nice and enough to start your day. Overall I would recommend this hotel for its location, spotless clean and outstanding staff. I will be returning.

Super comfortable last-minute find

We had to make a last-minute reservation because of airline delays. We were very lucky to find this hotel, near Chateau Vicennes, with a staff that was most accommodating for our late reservation and 2AM arrival. The room was fairly spacious with a big, comfy bed, and was very clean and quiet (even at street level). The only problem was that the shower door wasn’t water-tight, so we had a bit of a flood to clean up after the first shower. LoL All-in-all, it was very nice, and I would certainly stay here again!

A nice hotel with friendly staff.

This was our second visit to this hotel & it is a nice hotel with friendly staff and good sized rooms/bathrooms. Breakfast is also good. Our only disappointment was the location of our room (room 2) as it is by the entrance to the courtyard and appears to be the gathering point for smokers so we had the smell of smoke in our room and the conversation of the smokers just outside our door at all hours. Also the plumbing was noisy so we were regularly woken up by 'singing pipes' when the people in the room above us used the bathroom in the night. We will use this hotel again because it is a good hotel, however we will not stay in room number 2 again.

Staff are good and friendly. The room i stayed in is old with 3 separate single beds but the bathroom completely renovated. Ugly red carpet on the floor is too old and fluffy stuff on the walls needs to be renovated into modern looks. The internet and tv service are horrible.
