We had an awful experience with this host. Just two days before our arrival, they changed our reservation from the spacious, bright apartment we had booked (which comfortably fit 12 people and was close to the metro) to a smaller, darker basement flat that could barely accommodate 10. The new apartment had almost no natural light and none of the decorative charm of the original. We asked them for a 15% discount to fairly compensate for this last-minute downgrade. They told us they would “ask the owner,” but never followed through or got back to us at all. It really felt like a bait and switch to move us into an apartment that probably wouldn’t have otherwise been rented. On top of that, the internet never worked during our entire stay, forcing us to go to local cafés just to get online.Extremely disappointing and stressful, especially when traveling with a large family. I strongly caution anyone considering booking with Urban Flats in Paris.
