Unit 806 at The Summit, Directly on the Beach, Tiki Bar, 2 Pools, Amazing Views!

This condo is the perfect unit for a family get-a-way or a group beach trip. Recently renovated kitchen, new appliances, and has upgraded linens and decor. The best part is that we are directly on the beach (not down the street or across the road). Sleeps 6; King bedroom, bunk room, and queen sleeper sofa. The living room area has a hall door for privacy when the sofa bed is being used. The balcony has amazing views of the beautiful beaches and the pool area. Our sunsets are ahhh-mazing! We are located on the 8th floor which is the perfect distance to drown out the pool noise, yet high enough to see the beach, and be able to hear the crashing waves.

Parking passes and wristbands are required upon check in. Can be picked up at front desk upon arrival. Our unit does include carry down beach chairs and toys.
The condo is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

absolutely wonderfully!

My Fiancé and I stayed here and we both loved it! Normally we would stay at treasure island however it was last minute booking and couldn’t find one for a reasonable price that would work with our age considering most places require 25+. Upon arrival Shane gave us all needed information as far as receiving wrist bands and parking pass and how to check in. The location is great, not too far from everything however you are not right in the middle. Everything was super clean, the only thing was the balcony door has not been fixed however it is useable just be careful. Also to add Shane stayed in touch the entire time and replied back to any questions or concerns we had immediately !Me and my fiancé ended up booking another night just because we were so please with everything!! We will definitely be back, I would recommend this to anyone!!!

Overall nice place...Pros & Cons...

First, host doesn't respond well via VRBO messages, we ended up corresponding via text & that worked out great. Just be aware if you need a more immediate response. Second, I like positivity so PROS: -view of the beach is amazing - pool area is spectacular & kept clean -Bikini Bobs was a great spot if you aren't into to paying double the price for drinks & is located on the property - beds were very comfortable - nice cutting knives - keurig & standard coffee pot available - the door that closes off the living area from hallway was a win for the bunk area - two toilets - large TV & sectional sofa are nice - nice updates but unit is older (no granite or stone counters in kitchen, backsplash is peel & stick tile) -host responded well to our concerns once we corresponded via text CONS: -patio door handle missing & frame was broken, we had to push hard on the glass to open the door (maintenance should have fixed this a long time ago, lots of cool air being lost from living area) - missing microwave door handle -dryer door would not stay closed as clothes tossed around, had to duct tape it (with owners permission) -two toilets are seperated by a pocket door (good for conversation if you're into that sort of thing) -dishwasher is not secured to anything, be careful when opening because the entire thing will fall forward onto you (or a small child) but it works - some water damage that needs repair, particle board used as shelves in kitchen cabinets is falling apart/crumbling (had a strange odor) - the unit has one bath room (vanity & toilet seperated by a pocket door that leads into toilet & tub) all connected with access from hallway or master bedroom. *could be pro or con depending on the individual-- there is a strip club directly across the street (near entry) of Summit property. I was pleased with the owner once we began corresponding through text. He was aware of several things being broken & reimbursed us a small amount towards some food/ drinks after I discussed my concerns (listed in cons). Do not expect to receive your entry code until check-in time. Overall we enjoyed the beach, the pool, & grilling area. The grounds keepers & security work very hard to keep things looking great & in order. *Sidenote- The Holiday golf course was in pristine condition. Bay Point had temporary greens & was not favorable. Signal Hill was just ok, not in the best condition.
