I like this property and know it well as I have family that owns condos here. All of their condos are nicely refurbished and lovely places to spend a holiday. All of those condos were taken so I offered to rent another for myself. I have two major complaints. The cost as well as the condition of the condo itself. The condo was listed on Travelocity at $338 for the 2 nights for 1 person. That was reasonable and I would have been willing to pay that price per night plus a standard cleaning fee. In the small print there was an additional fee of $376.99. I saw that but somehow read it as a deposit not as a full fee to be charged. That meant my total came to $792.96 for 2 nights for 1 person. Under any circumstances, I would find that to be high but considering the condition of the condo, that price is ludicrous. It was very dirty and in poor condition, both in appearance and general repairs. As an example, there was a plastic zip lock baggie over the smoke alarm to keep it from going off and the toilet ran loudly nonstop. I will at least mention that the bed was comfortable and the linens were fine but I mainly noticed that as I found it impossible to spend any time there other than to just use the bed to sleep in. I guess if there are several people to split that total cost and you don’t mind that the condo is rundown and dirty, you’d be fine there. Again, I will say this property is great, just not this unit.
