While it was pretty cool to be staying in a historic hotel, the room wasn't anything special and the bathroom was on the small side. It's definitely no frills. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful and the temperature in the pool and hot tub were excellent.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The pool was perfect and relaxing (though the server was crabby). We had a king suite which was very spacious but the shower was a constant surprise. It would be hot then randomly cold and vise versa. It was very close and convenient to the main part of town with a lot of restaurants and shops near by.

At check in staff provided an extension for front desk if we had questions. Our room didn’t come with a phone. I would prefer if our restroom window had a screen. All sorts of bugs come in without a screen. Shower had spider webs. It took me a bit to understand how to turn on the shower knob. Hot water wasn’t consistent. All staff were professional and friendly. Bed and pillows were super comfortable.
