I recently booked the "Suite Two Twins Room," which was described as suitable for 3 people. However, upon check-in, we were informed that we needed to pay an additional 1000 baht for a cot, because of three of us in the room. This seemed overpriced, and we ultimately didn't need the cot. Additionally, the hotel restaurant's food was expensive, and the portions were quite small. While there was a happy hour with a "buy one, get one free" certain alcoholic drink offer, it seemed to only apply to juice, which was disappointing. The room itself had issues with drainage, and in the middle of the night, we ran out of toilet paper. Unfortunately, there were no spare rolls available, which was inconvenient. The room also lacked sufficient trash cans. On a positive note, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, in our opinion, the overall experience did not justify the high prices for the facilities offered. Based on this experience, we have decided not to book this hotel for future stays.

The resort overall is nice, however in-room facilities in my room type (1-bedroom pool villa) need some improvement. The mattress quality is quite poor so we have informed the staff to put in a topper which help solve the issue. Still, at the rate we paid, we expect this basic needs to be resolved for all future guests. Also, there's no dressing table in room which should be available for this room type.

Hotel looks nice. However, we were disappointed that the "kids club" were just an empty room with no kids club staff. The gym was also empty and no one was manning it (guess they assumed you can switch on the lights and air-conditioning and do your own work-out). Saw a guy running outside instead of in the gym, so it wasn't just our experience. The swimming pool water was very cold even on a sunny day, pool was alright. On closer look, I noticed that there was small spiders on some of the pool towels (suggestion to probably need to cover the clean towels in wraps). Overall, hotel was quiet and nice if you need a quiet environment.

Wonderful hotel. Well located, close to everything when you have your own transportation. Perfect service aside from the small thing at breakfast. 30 mins after the supposed opening they still had not put out any food for breakfast. Rooms, although small are perfect. The balcony is wonderful when you come back at night

staff and all services were nice and helpful. Room was so cozy and large enough to lay down your luggages on the floor. And the color made you feel homey. My cons for this property may have only one thing is the price of food is so expensive, so I drove out to get some greater restaurants outside

Family stay at the escape Khao Yai

Online reviews helped us with our decision to book the Escape for our family holiday stay. The room size was comfortable for an extra bed in each room. We went in June, So it wasn't in the peak season, so breakfast time was very relaxing, no rush, not like the hotels in the main cities. We had one dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food was good. Both western as well as Thai food. You need transport around Khao Yai, so to travel out to attractions and shops from the hotel, make sure you arrange for your transportation. They had good live music only for one of the nights, on a Saturday. As usual for most Thai hotel, staff are helpful and friendly. Our stay at the Escape was comfortable and memorable.

Quiet, cozy resort, away from the traffic jam

One of our rooms had air cond leaked. It caused the Sofa to be soaked wet. We requested for a change in room in the same floor, but was fully booked. The hotel only able to change room for us on the following day. They only compensated us with a 30% discount from F&B. Overall, we quite happy with the hotel buffet breakfast spread.
