Awesome place but not surely worth it

great service! very comfortable! bit far from the center.. 20-25 min walk.. there are shuttles till 22:00, later it's only walking back or riding a bike.. no taxies. in general if you rather relax away from the center, it's great place, but we took an extra day in the city center in less than half the price and it was awesome! more comfortable location :)

We were told that we were upgraded but on hindsight, they didn't upgrade us. The room was the one we booked. Free wifi was also quite slow. A bit puzzled why the "king" bed became two Super single beds joined together too. Otherwise, service was great!

Oh dear...

The Montis has seen better days...it was very empty, and the cavernous rooms and large but somewhat untended gardens give it a neglected air. Dinner, in the restaurant, was extraordinary; two cheerful but frozen waiters attended us three (the restaurant's only diners) by dim candlelight, and served our meals, selected from a short and frankly unappetizing menu, as if nobody else had eaten there in years. All very surreal. Overall, it looks as if the Montis might be struggling to survive.

Good, not great.

Was good. Nothing really special to say. Good ac, WiFi was weak, food was ok, felt a bit like a ghost town and somewhat of place, but the staff made us feel at home always. I think Pai is more hipster and this place attempted to be more high end.

Perfection in Pai

The hotel was perfect for all our needs and the staff was fantastic! The hotel was very clean. The wooden walkways needed to be updated...as some planks were loose. This was such a minor issue to our stay here at Montis. The grounds are large and sprawling with beautiful rose gardens and fresh produce they grow and use in the restaurant. The hotel is close to town and they provide a free shuttle...but no so close so the space is quiet and serene. Lastly the girls at the front desk were wonderful in helping us with our next travel plans. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers and friends.

Service couldnt be any better

The service was amazing!!! Couldnt have been any better. The lady at the front desk was amazing and so friendly. Her english is fairly good and just made our visit in Pai so much more pleasent. There are a few things that need fixed like broken tiles on the pool but this is easy to ignore with amazing service and views

Great hotel outside of town.

Nice hotel out of the hustle bustle of oai town. Modern appointments tastefully decorated pretty good buffet with lots of choices traditional western and Thai options. Service was good staff was friendly.
