Within walking distance from the sea, near the illustrious walls of the ancient borough of Otranto, Appartamento al Bastione
is a flat that dates back to 1500, situated on the second floor of a
charming court. Recently renovated, with attention to the details and
good taste, the flat is so close to the sea that you can easily
arrive at the sea and cool down after a stroll in the narrow streets of
one of the most beautiful boroughs of Italy or after a hike in the
nature.
You open the
wrought-iron small gate, enter in the courtyard and up one flight of
stairs you arrive at the apartment. Once you pass the under-stairs
laundry, past the arch that embellishes the hallway, there is the
dinging room with kitchenette that includes a microwave oven and
dishwasher. The furniture, simple yet looked after, evokes the arte
povera and the typical style of the Salentine houses. The old
nineteenth-century front door now is the door of a built-in closet and
the two eighteenth-century casings are now headboards of the two
king-size beds.
Past
the dining room there is the living room with queen-size sofa bed and
then the first master bedroom. The bedrooms share two bathrooms with
shower. Up the stairs in the dining room you arrive at the shadowed terrace with view
on the roofs of Otranto, where you can eat lunch or dinner. The stairs
bring you to the mezzanine floor, where there are a king-size bed and a
twin bedroom. Up the stairs from the hallway you arrive to the second
mezzanine with single bedroom. The mezzanine floors go from 6,10 feet to
3,3 feet tall.
The flat is also equipped with washing machine and air conditioning
(hot or cold) which makes the flat ideal for every season, even spring
or autumn when the town shows its most suggestive and less tourist side.
In the historical center of Otranto, where narrow streets full of and many different shops, you will find this apartment, comfortable holiday house, right in front of the sea and just a few meters from the beaches and lidos.

The location of the house is magnificent, located in the central square of the old town of Otranto and just 50 meters from a platform serves as a natural sundeck, also allowing you to easily immerse yourself in the beautiful crystal clear waters.

The apartment is set on the second floor of a small court. Upon entering,  hallway leads into the dining room with practical kitchenette supplied with all accessories such as electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Continuing, an area with a sofa bed, the master bedroom and two full bathrooms with shower.

From the living room, a set of stairs leads to the well equipped terrace  ideal for al fresco dining overlooking the alleys of the old town. The same flight of stairs also leads to a large loft with a double bed and two single beds.

In the hallway, a second staircase leads to the second floor loft with a single bed.

The apartment is very comfortable and as well as being in an enviable position also has all the accessory: the kitchen is very well equipped, with washing machine and ironing board, for a holiday in total comfort and relaxation!

To be noticed that the height of the two lofts attic goes from 6.88 to approximately 3.3 feet so, it is not possible to stand up everywhere. 

 
- After reservation, you can fix check-in (from 4pm to 8pm) and check-out (from 8.30 am to 10am). An extra payment of euro 50 is required for late check-in upon request (from 8pm to 12am).
- Upon your arrival you will be required to sign the tourism contract written in Italian language.
- The tourist tax, WHERE APPLICABLE,is not included in the price and will be applied according to the municipal regulations.
- First Bed linen/towels kit included in total price. Optional change upon request at euro 20 per person.
- It is MANDATORY to sort and dispose the waste. If not, it will be withheld penalty fee of 80 euro for up to 10 kg of waste + 50 euro for each additional kg.
- It is MANDATORY to leave the stove and cutlery clean (service not included in the price of final cleaning). If not, it will be withheld a penalty fee of 40 euro.
- The triple room is a quadruple room (double bed and two single beds).
-The eighth bed is on a French sofa bed.
-  Air conditioning with inverter conditioners. Two splits near the mezzanines that cool both the bedrooms on the mezzanines and the living room and kitchen.
- Parking in the street with pass (provided upon arrival).
