Escape to beautiful 1700s Cynynion Uchaf, a spacious stone farmhouse on a working farm with breathtaking views across England & Wales. Just 10 mins from Oswestry, enjoy four bedrooms, including an interconnecting twin room ideal for families, three sitting rooms, private grounds, a cosy log burner and plenty of space to relax. Perfect for families, friends, walkers, countryside escapes and guests attending local weddings. Sleeps 8–10. Pets are welcome, with up to two dogs (subject to our pet fee and house rules).

Cynynion Uchaf is a much loved genuine family farmhouse rather than a purpose built holiday cottage, giving it a relaxed, homely feel and plenty of character.

The house sleeps 8 comfortably in four large bedrooms, with two additional guests possible on comfortable fold-up beds with proper mattresses (fee applies). The interconnecting twin bedroom is particularly useful for families with children. Travel cot and highchair available on request.

There are three sitting rooms, giving larger groups plenty of space to spread out, alongside a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area which is the heart of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and eating together, and the log burner makes the farmhouse especially cosy on winter evenings.

Outside, guests have their own private grounds, parking for 6+ cars and those lovely countryside views. As we're a working farm, you may see livestock and normal farm activity during your stay, all part of the experience of staying somewhere genuinely rural.

The location is excellent for exploring the Welsh Borders, with Llangollen, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Offa's Dyke, Chirk Castle and other National Trust properties all within easy reach. There are also numerous walking, cycling and golf opportunities nearby.

Cynynion Uchaf is also a convenient base for guests attending weddings at local venues and many brides and grooms have stayed the night before their wedding to get ready.

Two well behaved medium sized dogs allowed. £30 fee. Must be kept on a lead at all times outside as this is a working farm. Not allowed upstairs please.
