Convertible A-Frame Glamping Cabin @ Zion National Park

Groceries & Gas
Our A-Frame cabin is tucked away in a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path location—perfectly positioned as one of the closest rentals to some of Zion National Park's most popular east-side trailheads (like Observation Point via East Mesa, Cable Mountain, and more). Stock up before you arrive! Fill your gas tank and grab groceries in advance, as amenities are limited nearby. A small convenience store, restaurant, and food truck are available at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, just a short drive away.

Parking & Access
Parking is available right off the dirt road. From there, it's about a 300-foot walk to the cabin on slightly uneven, hilly terrain (with some uphill and downhill sections). Wear sturdy shoes and pack light if possible—it's a short but scenic stroll into your private retreat.

About the Cabin
Step into an enchanting, convertible A-Frame cabin that feels truly magical. This cozy gem is fully off-grid, powered by solar energy stored in batteries. Power availability can vary depending on weather and cloud cover—think of it as part of the authentic wilderness experience. We recommend bringing portable chargers, headlamps, and a flexible mindset for those occasional low-power moments.

Wildlife & Bugs
You're staying in true wilderness near Zion National Park, so expect wildlife visitors and occasional bugs. We never use chemical sprays or poisons on the property to protect the natural environment. While we thoroughly clean and inspect the cabin before every guest arrival to keep it as bug-free as possible, a few friendly critters might still make an appearance—it's all part of the adventure!

Altitude & Weather
At approximately 6,500 feet elevation, the cabin enjoys cooler temperatures—often about 10°F (5–6°C) lower than down in Zion Canyon. Utah mountain weather can change quickly, so pack layers for both warm days and chilly evenings, no matter the season.

Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort Amenities
As our guest, you have access to the fantastic facilities at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort (a short drive away). Enjoy the on-site restaurant for meals, plus a variety of activities—often with a small resort fee:

Family-friendly swimming pool and hot tubs
Mini golf, climbing wall, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball, volleyball, and more
Live music events throughout the summer
Book exciting adventures directly through the resort, including horseback riding, ATV tours, Jeep tours, canyoneering, hiking excursions, and more

This is your chance to combine secluded cabin magic with convenient resort perks and unbeatable access to Zion's quieter, eastern trails. We can't wait to welcome you! 🌲🏞️

Please note:
Security Deposit & Damage Hold: A security deposit of $200.00 will be placed on your credit card prior to your arrival, if you are not booking with us directly, you will be directed to our property management software in order to complete this action. This is not an upfront charge; it is simply a temporary hold to guarantee coverage for any property damage, excessive cleaning fees, or house rule violations. The hold will automatically release 2 days after your departure, provided no damages or issues found.
The cabin features a patio and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a refrigerator, a stovetop, and a coffee maker. Change of towels is available on request.

You can tell the hosts put so much thought into their little abode here - they thought of EVERYTHING! The space was so clean and welcoming as well. The bugs were a little bothersome, but that's just part of camping! We really enjoyed watching all the hummingbirds (we saw 8 of them on the feeder at once!) and we saw some deer too one early morning. The stars were fantastic, and the hosts were very communicative about things to do in the area and how to get to the location. I sent videos to my mom, and now she wants to go! Amazing experience.
