Great views, peaceful hillside location, great base to explore from

I stayed for a week in September with my husband, daughter and my 14 week old Grandson. We were welcomed by the owners at a time to suit us and were showed around the property, Gail even brought down a baby bath especially for the baby and a few other bits which was so helpful. We found the kitchen had everything you could need, with all utilities and things to cook with. The shower was also lovely and powerful. Our beds were comfy and the travel cot was ideal. Unfortunately we were inundated with mosquitos which was no fault of the owners, just bad timing with the wet weather Spain had had the week before. One thing we think would maybe be an invaluable addition to the property would be mosquito/insect screens on the windows to stop the biting beasts from getting in so easily. However the aircon was fantastic and only 1 Euro for 2 hours so we were able to just keep the windows closed. With the bad weather, the garden was quite overgrown so we didn’t venture down but enjoyed sitting on the terrace and loungers when we were at the property. You definitely need a car unless you’re avid walkers as it would be a bit of a climb on foot to and from the centre of Orba. The property is situated on the hillside and the views are fantastic. Overall I’d recommend the property to friends and family and had a lovely stay.
