The host was great with communication and allowing us to park there while we waited to check-in. the Apt is located within walking distance from the beach but definitely not an easy walk if you have any knee problems, children in tow or a lot of beach gear. going down is easy but coming up the hill is quite the workout. The apt is spacious and bright but there holes in ceilings and floor corners that you can see insulation and wall inards. it is a good place to sleep thats about it. nice little kitchen.

Overall, the place was good for a few days. The kitchen and supplies were basic, check in was easy and location was quiet and a convenient walk to the beach and OOB. There was a/c in all rooms and the beds were comfortable, which was great. There are some repairs that need fixing like a hole in the ceiling in one bedroom, replace a few ceiling tiles and cracks in the bathroom. Also note that the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms, which wasn’t a problem for us, but that isn’t clear on the description. We also enjoyed the balcony- good for 2 people as the kitchen is very small. The washing machine wasn’t working when we were there. Overall, the place is partially renovated, but will be nice once a few repairs are made.

Pulling up to the property we were immediately disappointed. The neighborhood is a little sketchy. I suggest using google maps to view the area and see if you are ok with it prior to booking. The apartment is located on the second floor. The entryway is jarring, dirty torn up carpet, tiny staircase. Once we opened the door the smell of smoke hit us in the face (this is a no smoking property). We looked around and thought , there’s no way we can stay here. Fortunately the property manager found us a place nearby which had problems of its own, but not relevant to this listing. We decided to stay the night because it was late and we had a long drive at the other property but we checked out the next morning . I contacted the host about refunding one night but they refused. It’s unfortunate that we had to incur the additional cost of another lodging and the host did not acknowledge our concerns. Side note- the bathroom is located inside one of the bedrooms, which is not ideal when staying with other people. It advertised as “renovated” but the only renovation is new flooring (which the floors are very uneven) and a new toilet.

Unit was spacious, the one bathroom was accessible only through one bedroom. Was not in the common area so was inconvenient. Kitchen had a good sized frig and lots of sunlight. Better AC in the back bedroom and get rid of kitchen ants- this place could be 5 stars. We used charcoal grill outdoors and was great.
