The lodge, located directly on Fourth Lake, was lovely. Unfortunately, we came a little early in the season, so the restaurant was closed. But, it was a very nice stay!

This was my honeymoon and there was no one at the front desk to check us in once we got into our room it was a total disaster, not clean very dirty. They did put us in another room for one night and then put us back in our other room, but not acceptable when it’s a honeymoon!!

The only thing missing from this place is food and a hot tub. But we went during winter and it’s the off season - but man did we enjoy our stay. Absolutely lovely.

The area was very nice. The rooms were small and quaint. Clean and well stocked. Visited off season so the main lodge didn’t have staff. The complementary breakfast was not impressive. Looks like a fun place to experience in season.

Dirty Disgusting and Dark Rooms.

The room was filthy and dark. Poor lighting. No attention to detail Be careful when they say LAKESIDE, you can't even see the lake from the room. It is totally behind another building. I found a used Q-tip under the sink in the bathroom . There was an old, used beer can underneath the bed, along with lots of other dust and dirt. I would have not seen it, but I dropped something on the floor and accidentally saw the dirt and junk underneath the bed. It was disgusting. The room is extremely DARK. Don't plan on doing any reading or work in the room. The quality of the room was horrible. Dirty, disgusting, and no attention to detail.

Off season weekend getaway was peaceful and relaxing. Feeling of having the whole place to ourselves even though there were other guests. It was just the two of us on our walk on the lake. We can't wait to return.

Amazing place

This was our 2nd time staying at Great Pines and we absolutely love it. Its clean, quiet and has all the amenities you vould want. On-site bar/restaurant, snacks/brwakfast in lobby. Location is perfect for us. And the beds/pillows are absolutely luxurious! Love love!

Loved our stay at Great Pines. We loved sitting relaxing by the fire. Only wish bar and restaurant was open during our stay however we will be back this summer. Beds were super comfortable and loved the views from our room as well.

Hotels.com needs to work better

The stay itself was great. As a self check in establishment, I had difficulty only because expedia/Hotels.com never sent me a check in email. It took me a while to get in touch with a staff member to forward the email so I could actually check in.
