A restored 1888 boarding house and cafe in the heart of downtown Oceanside, The Brick Hotel has been reimagined into a modern day inn, a new kind of boutique hotel hidden above a tiki bar and below a rooftop bar. Locally owned and operated with contactless on-demand service and a digital concierge, guests are invited to self check-in to their next vacation.
Due to the multiple bars on-site, guests must be 21 years or older to book. On Fridays & Saturdays, the food and beverage concepts stay open until 12M and there is the potential for noise during hours of operation. We are a perfect fit for guests looking to enjoy a lively urban environment with several on-site dining options at your doorstep, while also being a short 4-block walk from the beach and pier.

- We do not have a front desk as our ground floor is occupied by a lobby bar. If checking in on a Thursday, our on-duty manager will send additional details via text message. We recommend arriving early as there will be congestion in the area. Feel free to text/call our manager should you have any questions.

GREAT location, very walkable by the pier. Pretty cute place. They even had a couple drink tickets to check out the bars connected to the hotel.
However there was a mold smell when you walk in the room, with significant mold discoloring around the AC unit. It was loud at night with the bar on the rooftop until around midnight, even on the second floor. Because of that, it was a bit overpriced for the overall experience.

Get away
Very nice little one room w/ bathroom. Walls are not sound proofed and we could hear neighbors talking, let alone every bathroom trip or anyone walking. We also woke up to noise from upstairs around 3:30 am. Possibly from the upstairs bar/rest being closed/cleaned.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Brick Hotel!
