We booked for two queen beds as it was my husband, me and our teenage son, plus two dogs. We went to check in at 8:30pm on an holiday weekend and were told our room was “unavailable” due to an issue with the bathroom. They told us all that they had to offer us was a room with a king bed. They had not got or pull out bed to offer. They never called us in advance to notify us. I was going to just go elsewhere, but unfortunately it was a holiday weekend and there was nothing else available. My son ended up sleeping on the hard floor. They offered a padded blanket, but it was not padded. It was essentially a very thin comforter. They offered to upgrade us the next day, but they still only had rooms with a king bed available and a pull out bed. So, we got “upgraded” to the suite (the “very expensive” room according to them). We had to move all of our stuff (they did offer to let us keep the room we were currently in also, but no need to have two separate rooms for three of us). The best part about the suite was the view. The door wouldn’t latch unless you slammed it shut. We had a worker look at it and that’s what he told us to do. The bathroom door didn’t latch either. We took the cushions off of the couch to pull the bed out and there was salt and old French fries on it. The pull out bed was super noisy.
The nicest part about the hotel was the lobby. Everything else definitely needs an upgrade.
There were so many great reviews, but unfortunately our visit wasn’t one of them.
