Lovely hotel conveniently located a 10 minute walk from Oakham station. Staff were very welcoming and room was spacious and very comfortable. Appreciated the complimentary biscuits! Breakfast was ok. Tea and coffee pots worked well and the pastries and bread choices were good. The cooked breakfast was fairly standard but perfectly acceptable. I would stay again.

A great little hotel for a short stay in Oakham, we have stayed before and will probably return in the future. Our ground floor room was clean and comfortable, we were grateful for two easy chairs. The room would be better if there were coat hooks to save putting wet coats in the wardrobe and a few more hangers too. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The toilet seat was loose which we reported to reception on departure. We thought the bars prices were steep and this would put us off drinking there again £19 for a medium wine, a pint and 2 packets of crisps! Otherwise a lovely stay. Friendly staff.
