Unbearable construction right in front of the beach
Let me start by saying the house and the owner were lovely. Although the listing stated direct beach access would not be possible, that was not exactly the case. Yes, beach access was not directly available which was not a problem, however multiple bulldozers directly outside caused the house throughout the a.m hours of the night caused the house to rattle, unbearably loud noise and lights shining through all the windows through all hours of the night, making it impossible to sleep. The listing did not provide this information at all. Neither VRBO or the property management company were willing to help or to allow us to move. Until we contacted the house owner, who required the property management company to allow us to move houses and get out of the contract, did we get help. These conditions made it unlivable, as not being able to sleep at night does not allow for normal living conditions, nor does it make for a vacation. So disappointed in this whole situation, but very thankful the owner was the only one to do the right thing.
