Lovely setting. Didnt have time to use pool,but was really clean. The staff were really helpful (as everyone seems to be in Myanmar). Ordered transport and gave info .good choice of breakfast. Room was spacious and fresh water put in each day,so no problems for drinks. Would definitely recommend

Highly recommended

Lovely cozy room with wooden floor. A compact and pleasant environment around the rooms. Very conveniently located near the main restaurants of Nyaung-U and right next to a scooter hiring shop. 'Scooting' around Bagan is one of the most pleasant and inspiring experiences you could hope for, especially as you leave the crowds and meander around alone with nothing but the sound of birds and farmers herding their goats. A truly beautiful, magical place that shouldn't be missed.

Hotels.com got this location correct

Clean and good location for Nyaung-U, with friendly staff. I ended up staying here last minute after booking a room hotels.com incorrectly said was in this town, but in reality was 7+ miles away in a different town. I was able to cancel only 2 of the 3 nights at the inaccurately described hotel. Still waiting for Hotels.com to respond to my messages about that problem.

The pool was a nice touch and welcmed in the heat of Bagan. Breakfast was either fried noodles or omlette with toast. Fresh fruit served with coffee as well. Nice Hotel.

Nice and cozy, Great to relax

Nice and cozy hotel close to restaurants. Great place to relax after visiting the temples. The Oasis hotel is a nice small hotel. Rooms are simple and clean. Staff are very nice and always ready to help. The swimming pool and the garden make you feel in a little oasis in the middle of the village. They have a good breakfast. You can also rent e-bikes in the hotel itself.

Nice setting and comfortable accomodation

Decent accommodation with comfortable bed, walk-in rain shower, nice gardens. Staff were friendly and the e-bikes that the hotel hires out were newer and better quality than some of those available elsewhere. On the downside, room was a bit dark, over the two night stay the room was not serviced, and breakfast was “meh”. Would not recommend the “new deluxe” rooms by the pool unless you like people hanging out right outside your door from early morning until evening. The “deluxe” rooms might be a better choice. Easy walk to the “restaurant street”.

good starting point

we had great 3 nights at Oasis. clean room, warm welcoming, nice breakfast (but improvment possible in the speed of the eggs!). good situated between airport/bus station and old bagan. e-bike at the hotel and nearby. walking distance to restaurant street.

Good but disappointing

We booked for 4 nights but only stayed 3. The Hotel is well located approx 10 minutes walk from restaurant street, staff were friendly and helpful with the room clean and comfortable. However there are some issues that were not satisfactory 1) room had no working shower for one day and a half. I know water pressure can be an issue but no water is not good 2) Room safe would not unlock on at least 6 occassions 3) The hotel had several blackouts with no electricity for some time, a problem sometimes in Asia but this was too often 4) Rowdy young guests from Yangon having a party for two nights until 2am and beyond and management seemed to be powerless to stop it or just didn't want to confront the situation 5) our room was flooded at midnight on the first night due to a heavy storm and blocked drains, unfortunate but did not get us off to a good start Would I stay there again, maybe but I would want to be assured of better control of late partying if it occurred

Peaceful experience

Hotel is ten minutes her walk from Western style restaurants with lots of choice. Local restaurants are also plentiful. Small grocery store two minutes away together with a choice of e-bike rentals. Great pool to cool off in after the temples.

Nice grounds, extremely friendly staff, nice size rooms. However bathrooms could use a remake. We were in room 7 first and asked to be moved to 4 which was by the pool. Third night we were moved back to 8. 8 was the best. Beautiful pool area, decent breakfasts.
