Game Day! UA Visitors!
4/5 Good
"The house itself was clean, and the 2 living areas were nicely furnished. This would be a perfect house for guys coming into town to see a game. The description of the house is misleading. There are TWO bedrooms, not three. The third bedroom they are referring to is the MANCAVE in the basement, and it’s just that…a mancave with a ¾ size waterbed, which only sleeps one person. There is a king bed in the MBR and a queen bed in the guest BR. At best, the house sleeps 5. We needed that 3rd BR and when we contacted the host to ask how the house slept 8, the host stated, that “you can sleep on the sofas”. Note, they were NOT sofa BEDS, just sofas. There was no extra bedding. We informed the host we had 2 children in our party. The host said that previous guests who needed that extra bed would bring an air mattress. We went and bought an air mattress and bedding. There is ONE shower in the house. There is NO shower in the MBR…just the garden tubThe kitchen was very poorly furnished with only 1 pot and 1 pan. The pot needed a good scrub, and the pan was too damaged and scratched to use. We bought pans to cook breakfast. Finally, if the host chooses to leave products for the guest to use, they should not be used by previous guests. Any used soap, and personal products (mouthwash, etc) should be tossed"
